SOLVED----Networking A DVD Drive

First of all, i need this fixed really soon, next hour if possible.

Ive got two computers and they have shared the mains dvd drive before, only problem is i don't know how. My dad did it. I want to install a game using my other pc's dvd drive because the one in this computer isn't good enough. The computers are sharing the router and all i need to know is how to make it so this pc can see the mains dvd drive. I still have the drive visible on my computer but not accessible. Also, i have enabled sharing in the sharing and security option.

Help would be appreciated, thank you.

I don't know the process for what you are attempting to do, but I don't really think that getting this to work so you can play a game has to get done within the next 40 or so minutes.

That and google is your friend.
 
I would if i could, you don't need to know why. Never mind, i just worked out that none of the computers can access the main and the main has no access to the internet. Doing a reboot now.

Sorry, I just find it niggling that people say "solved" and they haven't said what the solution was. I've posted this in several threads before, and even made a thread on it, hense why I said that.

Anyway, good it's sorted. :)
