Hi I'm new to this forum, and since I watched "the fast and the furious" i like to drag race at Indy. my problem is that i don't know how to tune my suspension for the GT-R. i have read the tuning bible and the transmission guide for dummies. both really helpful btw :). But when i looked for basic tunes the suspension was totally different. so if someone could give me some good directions for how to fix my suspension on this car, i'd be really thankful.

PS. sorry for my English, I'm from the Netherlands.

damn, i still keep losing with more than 3 car lenghts. I don't get it. I don't have route x so i can't test very well either.

it could be your timing with launching and how you tree or transmission which is about 90% of a fast tune

yeah i got some ghost lag, i am mostly in american servers. but even with a 'same' start they win with a big length. I post my tran later, maybe you see a big mistake. but i think it doesn't look too bad. first gear max left, second pretty close to the first. 5 and 6 max right. And it's flipped.

Whats the top speed in the top right corner next to the graph?
It should be somewhere between 163mph and 168mph.
On the suspension note, try mine:
front red/rear blue
Min/Max ride height
Max/0.5 Lower than max spring rate
8/10 extension
10/1 compression
1/1 roll bars
0/0 camber
0.05/0.10 Toe

Now for SSRX toe should be at 0/0 but since Indy is a bit shorter the top speed gained from a 0/0 toe is irrevilant. A little toe will help your launch and comes in handy at Indy.

torque split? try 50-50, 45-55... if you havent already

35/65, i use standard downforce on the rear.

I thought it was 263 kmh. that's around 163 mph.

if so then good. I normally do this after i flip.
4th, 5th, and 6th, to the right
1st to the left
leave 2nd alone
line up 3rd to look good on the graph.
Torque split for high powered cars 40/60
low powered cars generally need 50/50 or 45/55

thanks for the help. My GT-R is pretty competetive (don't know how to spell), still pro's beat me. but most not more than 1 car lenght. with this help I also tuned a lemans, which is already faster than my GT-R. I think it's time for me to buy route x so i can see if my new tunes are faster. again, thanks guys.
