NOS Waster
I have been having some intermittent G27 problems.

Occasionally, the Brake, Throttle, and Clutch pedals all stick about 15%.
Today, I opened up the pedal set, fiddled around a tad, cleaned it out, tightened all the bolts and screws up, and put it back together.

I just tested the pedal set by taking the Bugatti on SSR7. I did a variety of throttle and braking tests to see how they are holding up.

I did the following tests:
Abrupt Press, Gradual Release
Gradual Press, Abrupt Release
Gradual Press and Release
Abrupt Press and Release
Partial Press/Release of various pedal travels using the above 4 methods

So far, the pedals have not given me too many problems.
It's a little confusing to me.

Though, i did find out one thing: The game uses an anti-stall throttle on cars that do not have a clutch pedal (like the bugatti)

Any suggestions to make these intermittent problems disappear?

Hey there, when you mean 'stick by 15%', do you mean there's input even though you're not depressing the pedals? I'm just curious because I'm using a G27 for about a year and since GT5 came out, I've used it quite intensely.

Since yesterday problems with my Brake and Gas paddles started to appear. They have the same problem but it's more serious with the Brakes.

Basically, after braking (light or heavy) sometimes there's a little input of Brakes appearing even though my feet is not in contact. And every time that happens I'll have to use my toes to 'pull' the pedals up. This issue is getting worst. The slight braking is affecting acceleration etc.

hello folks!

i'm having exactly the same issues as darou on my g27 and gt5... it started about 2 weeks.. somebody has tips for this case?

probably its some malfunctioning in my g27 brake pedal... maybe i'll have to open it up to solve =(

Wrong thread? ha...

The intermittent problem you're having, have you tried just restarting the game or turning the PS3 off/on or allow the unit to recalibrate (yes, I know the issue is with the pedal). Does the problem still persist after that?

Hi guys just writing back to update.

The problem is still ongoing till now and the pedals act like they have a mind of their own. The brakes occasionally have ghost inputs still, but that is still tolerable at the moment by physically pulling the brakes up. But I think my gas paddles are officially kaput as they have ghost inputs like 90% of the time :S

Even my stick shifter started to show signs of wear. The contacts of the 5th gear sometimes become mispronounced and drops a gear to 4th on its own, while the stick is in 5th. Really kills the experience. At least now I know the G27 is not built to last more than 1 year!

I only play it on GT5 at the moment FryImaging.

Do not open the wheel call logitech and have it replaced. The g27 is still unde warranty. It comes with 2 year warraty.
