Some obscure, but reliable (and very good) news

In the June 2003 edition of English car magazine "Evo" there is an article about the making of GT4. "Evo" go to Millbrook (a test-track in the UK) where the GT development team are taking photos and sound recordings of hundreds of cars. They talk to Yamauchi and others etc... but there is a particular reference which i'm sure will put smiles on your faces:

"The forthcoming GT4 has more cars than the previous three iterations put together"

(there are also references to a four-figure total)

Judging by some of the cars I see in the photos in this article, I would imagine this to be more accurate than the "500" figure being rumored.

They are also doing the same thing in italy, america and japan as well but at the moment the official word is 500. we'll have to see if there is any change in the number that are in the game nearer release

Then why do you read it? There is no "GT4 news discussion" forum or anything. This isn't rumor or speculation anyway: It's news. And making a joke about the fact that Gt3 has more evos and skylines than the rest of the world's cars put together, is a fairly light-hearted poke at such an annoying feature of sed game. It's not ignorant, you just missed the joke.

Can anybody take a joke??? A joke is ignorant and stupid because its a JOKE and thats what it's supposed to be. If it wasn't stupid it wouldn't be funny.

Interesting. I would think it would be IGNORANT to think that GT3 wasn't completely and overwhelingly dominated by the various Japanese "Tuner" cars, such as the Lancer, Impreza, Miata, etc.

Seems someone is a little sensative about this issue, eh?

As for the message board being ignotrant and stupid.....that comment does beg the question as to why you would visit such a place. By your own definiation, you yourself must then be both Ignorant as well as stupid.

Q: If there's no Japanese bias, where are the European and American tuners? (Ruf doesn't count. Its only there to bypass someone else's Porsche license) And why only 1 Beemer (2 Audis) vs. 15 Lancer Evo's?
