what are the advantages of using manual instead of automatic?

what F1 cars do you have and in what color schemes?

f/688/s (red and white)
f/687/s (black with yellow writing)

what are your favourite tracks?

1. You can pick gears better than the AI, which is told to shift up at redline. Some cars like to be thrashed to death, some (Loctite, Calsonic and Pennzoil Skylines) shift up better much lower down the range.

2. All PAL ones, all colours.

3. Anything that isn't Seattle 2.

4. Off the lights.

aight well you guys are talking to a complete idiote when it comes to car terms....
what is the red line...
and how do you choose your own gears

(and imagine i want to race cars amatuerly when i turn eighteen)
 
Red line is the point on your RPM gauge where it is red.
Choosing your own gears means changing the gear ratio. Go to the settings menu and you should be able to change your gear ratios. You need to buy a full custom transmission first.

4. Always off the lights and anyplace else i see fit :D
