The Mazda 787b is a good reason why some standard cars cannot have their wheels changed. A good number of premium cars in GT5 cannot have their wheels changed, namely, race cars and unique cars.

You can change the rims on the R390 Road car but not the NSX-R prototype road car? I believe if you can change the color of a car you should be able to change the wheels too...

I don't know if you're including race cars, but you can't change 'em on the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Race Car '98.

I'm not trying race cars until I try all cars where you can change the color on them.

VW nardo concept you can't change the wheels
Also the Nissan GTR Tokyo motor show concept.

You can change the wheels on the Caddy Cien and ZZII.

In GT4 you can change the wheels on all the cars I mentioned. You could even change rims of some race cars in GT4 like the NSX-R race car.

You would want to change the Viper GTS-R Concept rims?! Scandalous I say.

I had a feeling we wouldn't be able to change rims on race cars. In most cases I'm fine with it because I don't care, but I was pretty sad when I went to change the rims on my Nomad Diablo and it said I can't.

I also knew it was going to be the premium wheels only, and I'm fine with that, but even though I'm happy I can change them at all now, the selection is pretty bad. Not even the best rims are availible. ANd it's always those same ones.

I was PRAYING to be able to put the NASCAR style rims and the American Racing Vintage on all my muscle cars. I'm also wishing we had the Boyd Coddingtons and the SSR Professors.

At least those 4 on top of the ones now are needed to have a decent selection of looks. I hate to be one of those people wanting more after I just got alot, but I don't really "get" the limited selection.

Also.....right now......it's such a limited selection of rims to put on sta ndard cars, why would you guys want to change rims on ANYTHING that had unique and at least decent looking rims? Like the Viper Concept or the GT-R concept or the Countaches. I was going to change the rims on a couple cars but decided against it because the rims they comes with look so much more unique than any of the ones we can put on standards.

Though I totally get why you'd want to change most of them.

Fair enough. Certain cars should retain those wheels, but some can use an upgrade 👍

Can't change the wheels of this Saleen S7 and Suzuki GSX-R. And those both can use some new wheels that's for sure....

Edit: forgot the "'t" in can't.....

I can see why you can't change concept versions for the same reason they can't be painted. They end up looking like the standard production car (where they exist)

You can't change wheels on Saleen S7 I tested 10 minutes ago. But you can on the Cadillac Cien CONCEPT, Tommy Kaira ZZII, Lamborghini Countach (but this one sucks because wheel arch get hided by car body).

The Land Rover CAN change wheels

BTW you can paint the Camaro Race Car, I dunno if anybody tried that. It goes one solid color which I kind of regret, but once I find the right color for it I'll be happy. I'll have to try the rims on that when I get home since you can paint it.
