I heard In gt 4 there was a glitch where if you did a ridgy refresher plan while a car was in need of a chassis refresh it would basically ruin the cars handling. Is this glitch In gt5? Say I reinforced the chassis before a refresh. On say, a sauber c9 with 2000 miles would it be ruined?

Hi, Don't bother with chassis repairs, they cost too much. I just beat my best time at cape ring "extreme" tonight (11:57.2) and on replay my old Merc. CLK was just SMOKING indicating that it needed repair to the engine or chassis, and I've raced it's lots. Do lots of oil changes and if the peformance drops off too much go for an engine rebuild first. Check the HP in "AutoTuning", hope this helps.

I highly doubt it you can permanently damage a car. However, it is my understanding that over time/distance the car's performance will degrade until you refresh the chassis/engine. If you had added the extra rigidity, you will also have to reinstall it after the refresh. I hope this helped.
