As we move into cold and flu season, I see this more and more, and it really bothers me. So, public service announcement:
Don’t cough or sneeze into your hands!
That’s such a disgusting disgusting disgusting disgusting disgusting habit. Now you have germy hands, and you touch doorknobs and the water faucet handle and everything else and Sage is going to catch a cold because of that.
Cough into the fold of your arm (i.e., the opposite side of your elbow). That way you don’t send your ickiness airborne, but you also don’t get it onto your hands so that you can spread it all over the place when you touchy touch everything.
Anyway, just wanted to get that out. Hopefully at least one person this season doesn’t catch a cold because their roommate read this and avoided coughing into their hands.
(Why do mothers teach their kids to do this?)
