Something bad about the GT-One

The GT-One may be good in its speed and acceleration, but its handling is too terrible because when your in a sharp turn, it's open to spinouts . What do you think of it?

I haven't driven the GT One, but that's a characteristic of big-boost turbo cars. You get on the gas, and the turbo spools up, and *wham*! You're in the weeds.

Try to be gentle on the gas, and maybe stay in a higher gear.

It's better to learn how to deal with oversteer, than it is to put up with understeer. Oversteer can be balanced if you are careful, but understeer means you're taking a trip off the outside of the turn - period.

Yeah - it can be pretty tricky. With the steering wheel and pedals it's a bit easier to hold it just under boost in cornering, and then opening the taps once you've got it pointed reasonably straight.

Are you running traction control or ASM?

I think I run traction control. However, there is a probability that you can control the handling.

When it comes to handling supercars like the GT-One, it's like controlling a fast car with slick tires.

Just made it half way through GT3, and haven't got any F1 cars yet. I like the 787B, as you can tell. Yeah, I know the colors aren't that great, but it is very drive-able. Light, fast, and sounds awesome with the rotary motor.

The Blow-Off Valve on the GT-One sounds terrible too as you notice it

The GTOne is that hard to drive, especially before you add the Turbo to it. You've just got to learn to drive more smoothly. You can get away with jamming on the accelerator out of turns in lower powered cars, but with high power ones you must be smooth or, like you said, you risk spinning out. Just press gently on the 'X' button as your coming around the turn, then after you've come most of the way around the corner, start pressing down harder. The PS2 controllers are quite good 'cause they allow you analogue control with the buttons, though it does take a bit of practice to get used to it, but once you do it can make a big difference to your lap times.

I'm about to give away one of the secrets of going really quickly. If you have large enough hands. use the second joint of your thumb for the gas and the tip for the brake. That way you can modulate between them gently to bring any car back onto its line.
