Something Different - Test Course Time Attack!

Okay, I've been wanting to see a real close time attack and I figured doing one at the Test Course would probably be a fun idea.

Time attack is to be done in GT Mode>Driving Park>Test Course>Free Run.

Cars
- Saleen S7 '02
- Ford GT '05

Rules
- No driving aids
- No modifications, not even tyres. Oil change is allowed
- Run as many laps as you wish
- No cheating... If you can find a way to cheat, that is
- When submitting your time give all sector times
- Submit times in this thread
- Have fun!

Are you sure your car is stock Matt? A whole second is a huge gap for this race.
 
Yes it is stock. I crack around the track at between 220 and 226 mph.
 
Are you sure? I didn't get over 221mph.
 
Gave the Ford GT a try, gave it a oil change which puts it at 586BHP, and turned the aids off, here is my time

T1 - 4.016
T2 - 10.014
T3 - 50.220
T4 - 1'08.353
Time - 1'43.220

Took 3 laps to get this time. Here is my PAL Replay :)

I hit a max of 225 MPH down the straights, the lowest speed I hit was 221 MPH through the corners, it actually flicked between 221 and 222.

My GT seems to be broken then :(

EDIT:

OK. So I change from my red with white stripe 586bhp '05 GT into my midnight blue clearcoat metallic 586bhp '05 GT without a stripe and immediately get up to 225mph!!

White paint must be less aerodynamic or heavier or something!

.....try as I might, I just can't get this 'white' GT to go any faster.....I need to borrow daan's Midnight Blue Clearcoat Metallic....it's much faster than mine!💡

hmm, wonder if anyone can get the Ford GT into the 1'42's?

I think getting into the high .42s may be possible, it would be a tough task though.
I think I could of got a bit faster in the Ford GT, I had a bit of a problem on some of the laps where I would come in contact with the inside wall.

STidriver, I'll need some sector times for the S7.

I had to hook up my 'Driving Force Pro' Wheel (which I normally don't use because of pedal issues) to get the smoothness ....my old standby, the original 'Driving Force' is way to jerky for the Test Course.

New Time for the (05) Ford GT:

Jest added up the best sector form all driver and the lap time is 1'43.003.
1 = 3.998 = stidriver
2 = 5.981 = stidriver
3 = 40.102 = FireEmblem62
4 = 18.118 = Gt3emperor
5 = 34.804 = Gt3emperor
