Sorting out my garage

Is there any way in GT1 or 2 to sort the cars i my garage by maker/hp/drivetrain like in GT3/4...? I cant seem to find any options to do that

In GT there is no sort ability, in GT2 you can sort the cars to your own desire, that is you can move the highlighted car to the top of the list. I think the button you press is select but it should either tell you on screen or in the manual.

You have to press Start to sort your garage in GT2.
