Something as simple as adding the transmission whine from vehicles equipped with a race transmission wouldn't be too difficult. Listen inside any race vehicle with straight cut gears and it's an awesome sound matched with an un-muffled exhaust note.
There are countless threads about the overly-loud (and just plain annoying) straight-cut gear transmission sound in GT5...and you are requesting more of it?
There seems to be very little demonstration of actual understanding in this thread.
I'm wholly for all of the suggestions in the first two posts. Although some of them are already present...
Oh, and better forced-induction sounds, including screw-type supercharger sounds. They're still using the effects from GT2.
But whatever they plan i think they should do a soundpatch with more realistic sounds and where soundeffects are more adjustable. This is in my opinion more important than introducing more premium models...time to introduce premium sound instead.
Perhaps easier if they seperate the patches so seperate teams can work...if sound team is faster they shouldnt need to wait for the graphic department.
