An awesome program that doesn't seem to have had any mention here at all strangely. There're so many hilarious parodies involved and all in all brilliant humour.

For those of you who have no idea whatsoever about Spaced, here's a summary.

I watched S1 E4 - Battles tonight for the millionth time. I just love the paintball bit so much 👍

Here's an excellent mini write up that points out interesting parts in the Battles episode link and the other episodes link

In fact take a good look at this site, it's v. cool if you like the program 👍

Post up your thoughts and comments, fav episodes, best quotes, the whole load :)

Well, to quote Marsha "Bloody 'ell!"
I would have thought more people would have seen Spaced since Shaun of the Dead was quite a hit. It's out on DVD 'cause I have them!

Favourite quotes? Where to begin?

Tyres - "Mines a pint of the black stuff."
Mike - "You can't drink a pint of bovril!"

Mike - "Right, I'm off to point the pink pistol at the porcelain firing range".

Tim - "Jar Jar binks makes the Ewoks look like f'ing Shaft!"

Brian - "They err..arrived just before you did".
Tim - "You Lando!"

Matrix-like man - "Don't even think about leaving the country".
Daisy - "Don't worry, I won't!.....I can't afford it".

Daisy - "I have got a bit of a project actually. I'm going to be as inactive as I can in order to get into the psyche of someone unemployed, not just vocationally but cereberally, to see if the predicament of enforced passivity exacerbates itself. Does inactivity breed laziness?"
Tim "Oh..you're going to write an article about that?"
Daisy - "Nah..I can't be bothered..."

Anyway I think this may be a lonely thread, unfortunately!

I thought they'd be loads of Spaced fans on GTP. Especially all the brits, and especially Famine.

I love the Star Wars references all the way throughout. Plus all the Evil Dead ones :) Like when they go paintballing and Mike is tooling up and stabs the knife into the table and goes "Groovy".

Also i didn't think that Shawn of the Dead was anywhere near as cool and slick as Spaced. I hear the team are in the process of creating a film based on a "British action movie" with the film revolving around a bobby :D

I do like Shaun of the Dead as it isn't simply a mickey take of Zombie flicks. It isn't as funny as the Spaced episodes or as slick but it's a rare example of a successful Brit flick.

And it's full of references to films, TV and PlayStation games. Great dialogue and great characters and intelligently made for an intelligent audience. I'd rate it as one of the best modern sit-coms (if you could call it as such) made in the UK.

I hope the new film will also be a success.
