Alrighty then...

Which was the first road-going Ferrari (with Ferrari badges) produced without a V12? and what year was it?

F40 - 1987
umm, I'll be honest.
I had to look up the year it came out on Supercars.net.
if I am in fact right, and that disqualifies me from the question, so be it. but the F40 part was all me.

@Tornado - No offense, you know some strange facts, is all

1973 512 BB. It's a 12 but its not a V.

daans the maan!

It was actually the earlier 365GT/4 BB, the 512 didn't arrive until 76 - but they are essentialy the same car.

The 246 Dino and early 308's were not badged as Ferraris until mid 60's - until then they had 'Dino' badging.

That was a cracking question. It was well worded 'cos I spent ages thinking that it must be a 308/328 (I knew the Dino didn't have Ferrari badges on it) as all the others were 12s, but then I saw the V, and a light-bulb appeared above my head 💡 as I realised it must be a Boxer.

I'm at work, and I can't really think up a question the now. Someone else can have my shot. If no-one does, I'll post one up when I get home.

I'll post a quick one (just to keep the thread alive)

Q) What was the last British made rear engined production car?

Rear engined meaning behind the axle like the common Porsche? Hmmm.... I know of none, all I can think of is midengines. The Esprit isnt it is it? Cuz I think its midengine

EDIT is it this: 1961 Cooper-Climax? i no sure if it is a production car though. :boggled:

What did the numbers of the old V12 Ferraris stand for? i.e. 250 GT, 275 GTB, 365 Daytona.

It's the displacement (in cubic centimetres) of one cylinder. ;)

Ok, I don't have an answer for this one, so I suppose we'll need proof of the correct answer...

Which production car (naturally aspirated or forced induction) has the highest specific output? Answers in hp/litre please. I believe the conversion factor from hp/ci to hp/litre is 60 (so 1 hp/ci is 60 hp/litre).

TheCracker
For natural aspiration its the Honda S2000 at 118.5 hp/litre.
Yeah, I believe it's that too. The record is in the Guiness Book of Records the last time I checked.

It may be the highest for naturally aspirated cars, but not overall (sorry if I worded the question badly). When I said "naturally aspirated or forced induction" I wasn't looking for the leader in each of the classes, I was just saying cars from each class were eligible.
