Bristol Type 603 of 1976?

Or is it even older?

The first turbocharged Bristol was actually a 412, the Beaufighter, which debuted in 1980. The 603 wasn't turbocharged until 1982, in the Brigand.

The Beaufighter ia very close, though.

'62 Olds Jetfire with 215ci V8?

Spot on!

It was a bit of a trick question: the first turbocharged V8 was in fact the first production turbo ever, the Oldsmobile Jetfire. It debuted only a few weeks before the turbocharged '62 Chevrolet Corvair.

The Bristol Beaufighter was the third turbocharged V8, as far as I know, released shortly after the Pontiac Turbo Trans Am.

Yay! So I guess it's my go now?
