I'd say this is probably correct--supposedly in 1966 when Prince motor company merged with Nissan the S50 Skyline was the first Skyline with a Nissan badge. So, it's your turn.

Yeah I've heard of mixed reports 1966/1967 even 1968 with the C10 but I was sure they started Nissan badging in the S50 days so I choose 67 :).

Ok here should be an easy one, which was the only Skyline model to have a 4 cylinder turbocharged engine and name the engine (for example RB20DET).

I know it wasn't the GTS-T, because 1, that would be too easy, and 2, it had an I-6 in them, so, I believe it was the R30 RSX Turbo C, or the R31 GTS.

Yes the R30 Skyline RS-X, now what was the engine called (Nissans engine code, should be easy to find on google knowing what model Skyline used the engine)

FJ20DET? Either that or SR20DET. I can't think of any other turbo I-4's it could of been, because I doubt they would put the CA18DET in it.

Yep FJ20, your go :)

What car had the same engine (albeit a different bore), transmission and packaging of the DMC DeLorean?

Hm, tough one...That car used the Peugeot-Renault-Volvo V6, but I'm not sure of the tranny...By pakaging, i'd guess it was either a MR or RR.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess Alpine A310. It's a RR, and built by Renault.

Ah! but he said same packaging! that implies that the car was most likely a RR.

besides, in GT4, both cars sound similar.

I think Jim Prower has it right. It was my first thought when I read the question fully.

No Lotus Esprit has ever had a 6-cyl engine. It started off with a 2L NA I4, which quickly got a blower. Later models had a blown 3.5L V8

I was under the impression that the Z06 option was only available in the 1963 Corvette, not for the whole C2 generation.
Therefore, the question itself was flawed in that it was a one-year only option. GM announced a racing ban in late 1963, so the option was discontinued. The big-tank was only offered with Z06 'Vettes.
Anyway, I just thought I'd point that out. Carry on.
You are correct that the Z06 package was offered only in 1963. Until resurfacing in the last few years. Only 199 of the 1963 cars were so equipped, and only about a third with the "big tank".
However, Keef is correct in that it was offered as a "stand alone" option in all of the "mid-years" Corvettes.
*Most of my info is based on the "Corvette Bible" that came out in the late '70's/Early 80's.
That's also why my 'Vette questions aren't about newer 'Vettes.:D
(I don't have enough background info)*

Yes. I was looking for the Alpine-Renault GTA, but the A310 works just as well. (The A610 would also have worked).

WOOHOO!

So, we know that Toyota made AE82 Sprinters and Corollas, but which AE82 was niether, and not even branded as a Toyota?

A Chevy Nova.

And I'm rubbish at asking questions or paying attention to this thread. So the next person to post a question can have it.

note to self. don't ask questions about a car you own, and have said you own on this forum.

yes, you're right!
