(I asked about the belts because I recently had to take all five off to replace the timing belt on my car).
 
Sorry guys, was away the weekend. Yeah slicks I only know because I had to order new belts for a 6 bolt im getting built to drop in my 95 awd lol.


Hmmm...What size (in mm) is the drain plug on a 2g dsm transfer case?
 
Try asking a slightly more universal question, rather than one that only a dealership mechanic or enthusiastical owner could possibly know or care less about ;)
 
Well, I'll say 23mm, as I know the transfer case drain plug is freakin huge on my 1G DSM (Changed the transmission and transfer case oil today).

Switching away from the recent DSM trend, the BMW M60 V8 used this in the engine, and when combined with a ____ ______ fuel, caused premature wear and failure.

Ok, What is the main differences between a Dodge equiped Borg-Warner/Tremec T56 6 speed manual trans (eg Viper) and the GM equiped Borg-Warner/Tremec T56 6 speed manual trans (eg Corvette)?

(Besides gear ratios)

To make it clearer, how is the Dodge T56 trans different to the Chev T56 trans?

Im sorry I was referring to the difference in the T56 transmissions between the cars.

(They both use Tremec T56 trans)

I have edited my post to make it more clear as I see it can be misleading.
 
I believe the 'vette has the transmission setted up in the rear part of the car,that means transaxle setup,instead of viper that has it in the front.

Good answer but sorry thats not what I had in mind. I didn't mean to pinpoint the Corvette itself, when I said GM or Chev T56 I guess it would have been better if I used Camaro as an example.

The answer more refers to what the difference in the internals between Dodge and GM versions of the T56 (besides the ratios).
