I'm currently working on the TGTT intermediate test and am get very annoyed watching the AI take lines that will DQ me to pass me or take a corner much faster then I can, or getting random DQ's because I touched some magical point that is not marked with a cone or line.
Currently on run 75.....

Anyone else experienced this problem with this particular test? it doesn't help it's a Elise 111 R ugg talk about tail slide happy car.
WTB tuning!
 
Try changing brakes with the EE Functions to 8/2, learn throttle control, accept that AI is sometimes unfair. In almost every racing game.;-)

This might be a noobish question but, The EE function? I use a DS3, and have never seen that abbreviation.

and I know the AI has to be unfair to be competitive just grumbling :crazy:

I think I'll turn down my CS to -2 give me throttle control, just make steering a bit harder lol
 
That would make sense, but I have not found a way to tune the car as it's a TGTT speical event. so only driving options like TCS, ABS SRF can be edited.
 
If you are struggling, maybe having those options turned on will help. I use dpads with control sensitivity at 5...but I also use auto transmission, I can only imagine how sluggish -2 would be!
 
yeah you have to anticipate the turns allot but I have excellent throttle control with a -2 setting, I have TCS 5 ABS 1, AT and I relented and re-enabled SRF now I'm at least getting into the second lap consistently now, but damn the DQ spots change, so second lap has to be right down the middle of the track which makes passing very very hard.
 
Those settings sound pretty good...along with the BB advice. I haven't done any notes in my garage for the TGTT Special event...might have to look at that one again. Stick with it, you'll get it...and enjoy the victory dance in your living room when you do!👍
 
if i could tune this would be a cake walk, lol have a stored 111r tune that i love and have several thousend km on.
And ohh will i enjoy the taste of vicotry on this challenge. it's bugging me as much as daytona NASCAR....

Try enabling the R/A Menu, and you should be able to edit the BB values as well :).

never knew that worked in gt mode thought that was only arcade. makeing changes now.

I am very sorry... It is called the EE-Functions in german... I was talking about the in-race-menu, where you can change brake balance, TCS, ABS, ...
Sorry again...:guilty:
