Special Prologue Update on the 24th

G27 paddles and LED rev lights work on the GT5 time trial (as I am sure you know) so you can bet it will in GT5 too, but as Famine says they are not official wheels so were are just lucky they do actually work at all.

The G25 and G27 are not official GT wheels. The Logitech Driving Force Pro and GT are. This is why those wheels are shown on the wheels menu, but the G25/7 aren't, along with tens of other wheels which work with the console but are not official wheels of the game.

The G27 doesn't have a separate sequential/H-gate switch unlike the G25. The fact you didn't know this before laying "300" out on it isn't the fault of the game. The fact Logitech removed this feature from a wheel which isn't officially supported by the game isn't the fault of the game either.

I knew about the new features and setbacks on the wheel before I bought it. (just not about prologue issues) I would have stayed with the G25 (since I used to have one) but they dont sell it around where I live anymore. Its all G27's at local stores.

I just think it couldn't be too hard for PD to add a tiny update to address the issue in prologue. But, I suppose as long as PD keep their priorities straight and get the full version out come spring (or maybe summer for US) then I'll just quit my bitchin.
 
It's not an issue with the game - not least because it's not a wheel officially supported by the game. It's an issue with the wheel.
 
Yeah, so the "special" events update was just a bunch of N1 tires time trials, and a couple of pretty lame expert events...God, let GT5 have private rooms because I would not be able to stand events like these in the full game.
 
This update has just killed GT5P for me. I'll see you all next update:tdown:👎👎

Mmm, wow, rather un-inspired for a so-called Christmas Special. Is the FWD event at least tyre limited?
 
Pretty uninspiring I must agree Paulie. I like the idea of the one make GT race but why make it only 1 lap?

I don't actually remember where but I am trying to find it.
It said something about an update between the Time Trial Challenge and GT5 Prologue.
It said something about adding the GT5 Spotlight car.
