Hi

Im wondering who is the arcitect of thies rally stages and how in the hell can you win it ?

Im from Finland so I should know something about driving on gravel, you cut it to the corner and so on but NO !!!
I seem to be loosing time that way ????

So can anyone give me tips about this bs. ???

On snow I won on the first try and asfalt wasent that bad either but whats up with the gravel

HELP !!!!

Best car, best set up would be cool

Thanks

I used the car I won from the Top Gear Lotus challenge (Intermediate, I believe). The Elise Type 72, mod it out some... don't really have to reduce the weight, just get it to 200+hp, and throw dirt tires on it... you'll have a blast. Stay in the "middle" of the track, you wont be able to get in the way of this car from winning!

If you are really good at throttle and steering control, the stratos is absolutely insane! But it is insanely unstable too. It drifts really well, but "drifts" as soon as you start to turn. It can drift straights too if you can keep control....

Then if you got Gold on the intermediate challenges, you would have a WRC car. Add the Turbo to it, and go to it! If you're having trouble with that... you'll just need to practice. If you haven't earned gold on the intermediate challenge, then I'd go back to do it. The rally events do not need special skill, the opponents are pretty easy, you just need a decent car. Oh, and turn off the traction control (TCS).

My two personal favorites for these are the Sebastien Loeb Citroen C4 and the race modded '05 Subaru WRX STi, and rally setups for both of them can be found here. You are going to want to boost the horsepower a bit and then set the gear ratios a little longer, but aside from that either one of those should do the trick.

Easiest way to win this events is to set the torque bias to 50/50 on any rally car and you will win guaranteed.

What about the Lancia Delta S4, that thing is pretty insane, given it has like, 468 HP.

I won all three events in a standard Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Super Rally Car '03 (thats a bit of a mouthful).

I dunno about you guys but levels 2 and 3 were a piece of cake while level 1 was soooo hard. Ended up usibg a ginetta g4 purely fir acceleration. I used a rm evo 8 for level 2 and a tuned delta s4 fir level 3
Also managed to overtake loeb around eiger :p

The Subaru WRX WRC '08 is the best option in my opinion.
#1 tip: Never, ever use ASM when rallying.
It slows you down, and stops you drifting in corners. It should be a walk in the park with the WRX and no ASM. 👍

No aids at all. I always forget to turn traction control off when I get a new car and that just kills you when you're rallying.

Try the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI rally car '99. Or the Peugeot 206 Rally car '99. They are pure beuties to drive :)

dont use a Renault 5 maxi turbo rally car '85. i would happily set fire to that car -.-
