I'm fairly new to the game still (I bought it mid January) and I bought the XL Edition. This course was available whenever I'd go online and I enjoyed playing there to tune with other people and what not, but after the patch it tells me I don't have that DLC. My question is, in the XL Edition I got a voucher for DLC. Is this track not included?

You probably have a voucher for the first DLC. This SSRX DLC is fairly new.

That's weird then, because before this patch I could race on this track online. Not sure about offline because I never tried to.

Yeah, as of this latest patch, you can't even race on a friend's server with Route X unless you have the DLC, which majorly blows.

Low blow, PD.
Low freaking bow.

Wow. That's dumb.

Very much the opposite. Good business move by PD. Let me ask you this... Did you play on a friends SSRX? You now are unable. You liked the track, the only way to play it is to purchase it? What other choice do you have....

Yes it's a good move, it's very unfair for you to use something I pay for, at no cost to yourself.

I see no reason why the track should be available to others. Yes, it makes it much less useful to those who do own it, but that was something they knew would be the case when they bought it; and the people who didn't buy it didn't buy it.

However, PD really should get out of the habit of opening the track up for everyone online and then turning it back off. If they want to give people a taste, put the track in a Seasonal. Giving it to everyone then taking it back away is really just going to make people mad more than enticed; as seen both times they did it.

It probably wouldn't be as bad if PD would give people a "trial period" for the track and give an actual date for when said period ends. That's pretty much what it is anyway, a trial period, but since PD doesn't like to tell anybody about anything it will leave more of a sour taste in people's mouths when it is suddenly taken away with no warning.

I wish they would learn that a little communication goes a long way.

Theres a reason next to nobody races on Spa online anymore.. SSRX will be next. I can see what you guys are saying and that's understandable, but I disagree, and I've said this many times before, but I honestly don't mind people "free loading", sure they should buy the DLC, and it's obvious PD does things like this to encourage them to buy DLC(don't think for a second they did it for you guys, they could honestly give a ray's rear quarters, they did it to get people to buy DLC). I haven't raced online at Spa in the longest time, and honestly it feels like I'm getting ripped off even more than if they allowed someone to freeload. Just my 2 cents.

Well if it's mine. I bought it. Why am I not allowed to share it ? It's mine, I own it !

Use the voucher code to buy the DLC that you what.

Just go to playstation store, go to add ons, sellect the gt5 add on and pick what you want. After loading your cart, confirm to buy, sellect pay by playstation card and put in the code.

Because it makes sense to be using content that you DIDN'T PAY for.

You don't buy a car before test driving it, You don't buy a track without test driving it.

I agree. DLC cars are not available to the people who didn't buy them so why should the tracks be available.

It may have been intentional by PD to let anyone run online on the DLC tracks. So if you enjoyed it, it is now time to pay.

PD was just giving a preview of the tracks to those who didn't buy it. After trying both Spa and Route X online, I bought both. I mean, why not? They great tracks, and the Speed Test is quite useful.

No it isn't included, you would know if it is included and installed because you will have the "Speedtest" icon on the GT Life screen and it's function is available to you, plus it would be available to you in practice.

Agreed 👍

In the playstation store, PD should make a video of the DLC tracks using one of the cars from the original game by doing a test run on them, to excite people to buy the DLC tracks.
