By far my favorite track in GT3 (I never had a Playstation or GT1), and I'd love for it to be in GT5 at some point.

One of my most memorable gaming moments was on that track against the Le Mans cars for a pretty long race. I hadn't figured out the track very well yet, and I kept hearing the howling of the 787B getting closer and closer each time I did something less than perfect.

GT1's was by far more challenging.

In the tunnel in GT1 at SSR11, the 90* blind corners were a bit of a challenge to maneuver around at high speeds. But, I liked the fun of it.

Does anyone have a video of GT3 at SSR11 going through the barriers where the GT1 road going down to the tunnel is? You can still see the road in GT3 and you can see it go down far. I would love to see a video of someone going through that wall to travel down that road.

Something I don't get about that. Going from GT1 to GT3, Route 11 was completely re-designed. So, why is that section still there? Why is it visible? Its almost as if they thought about having that version in, but threw it away before release.

Gimmie the GT1 version please, just instead of the walls at the chicane, make it like the Chicane at AVUS, where you've got those big 'turtle shells.'

GT1, though I am very glad to not see it show up.

Memories of that IA license in the TVR, with digital buttons. And a TV that made night darker than it is even in GT5. Gran Turismo nightmare.

GT1 version plz

Yessss and Midfield too it's so nice ... the cornering and then the climb onto the mainstraight ....

Or high curbing like at the nouvelle chicane in Monaco. With the walls not too far away either. The way it was in GT1 wasn't very safe, but it was good fun.

Never understood why SSR 11 was taken out from the later GT games. When I come to think of GT1 and GT3, that track always comes to my mind.

It was like GT's nurburgring before the actual nurburgring bowed it's head in GT4.

I think the reason they didn't include SSR11 was because it would give us FOUR special stage courses, which would be a bit ridiculous given the relatively limited number of courses.

It would be nice to have a 'Special Stage Pack' for DLC. if it was possible an utterly epic track would be SSR5, starting in the normal place, squeezing down that little tunnel, joining a the SSR7 highway before it runs under the 2nd hairpin, and onto the main SSR7, running reverse, then at the other end you come of and join SSR11 and come back of that, onto SSR7 but the other side, gets to the hairpin, goes down the same part of the highway, and joins SSR5 at one of the bends after the 1st corner. This would be a very long track, but make a great teat ground, combining ideal straights for top speed runs and tight, technical sections for testing both car and driver. This track would be incredibly long though, seeing as SSR7 is 15 miles long, and some aesthetical changes may be required to make it blend with the original SSR7 (adding new off/on ramps, and I'm unsure if the highway even continues under the 2nd hairpin)

i would like to see the gt3 version in it and make like sst r20 or somethin with all the tracks of the special stage tracks all together into one big track

That would be great (EDIT: minus the "DLC" part I missed. If it's going to be a paid download/expansion content, then it would have to be much more than just SSR11 and another track joining them all). In the meanwhile they also could add some other Special Stages (following the numbering, SSR9 or SSR3?). By the way, I think that the SSR7 we currently have is not complete yet, so we might see there in the future new scenery, ramps, joints, junctions, etc.

BT-> Pointless question. It should be called Do you like SSR11 on GT5?

^ PD should realize bringing back this track and other notable original tracks.

That was my idea!!! To get all the special stages into one MASSIVE loop!!! But only if They rotate 5 or 11 nso that they still drive the correct way around.
