special X1 or other car

ok so heres the story.. was racing a guy online the other day with my X1.. drag racing down SSR7.. and my X1 blew his Vettels' doors off... i then gave him my set up so as to try and even things out.. and he even got a 3 car length head start after he took off while i was typing something.. and my X1 caught and blew by him again.. he was like "hmm.. must be the car" which makes me wonder.. do any of you guys own several similar cars like both 908s or similar SuperGT cars.. or even multiple of the same kind of car in different colors.. and notice that one of them is that much quicker than its siblings?
 
Tuning was off, or one of you had some aids on or something. Automatic shifting vs Manual? Maybe his was due for an oil change?

Everyone knows what he's talking about, no need to be pedantic about a made up car.
 
SO you guys checked all tuning settings, and HP, chassis refurb figures?....To be the same?

Also all game assists the same as well?

You relaise active steer in combination with ASM and TCS can slow you down in an X1 even on a straight?
 
All my aids were off... pretty sure his were too... this particular X1 also routinely destroys lap records for online rooms set by other X1s.. and no the greenie engine argument doesnt count cuz i only put 50 miles on the car..
 
Probably the engine or the downforce set up.
You know you can draft behind the car like Nascar, right?
