Speed 12, what gives?

I've seen them blow past me on sarth in my viper doing 250 but my speed 12 only does 248?

Its maxed out only 600km on it transmission set nice and tall but not to tall,i dont get it....

Is it the suspension? do i want stiff or soft for sarth? any tips~

Im lost,been trying go 250+ for hours No luck... anyone want to help me out:nervous:

Lower your downforce. Lower your suspension. Tighten your suspension. You don't want a lot of camber or toe.

Also, make sure your trans isn't over-geared. If in 6th gear you can't get the revs to the sweetspot of the powerband, it means you're not taking advantage of all the HP available.

Is yours fully broke in yet? If not your still gaining HP and possibly speed. Also not sure but I believe you want shorter gears for top speed and taller ones for acceleration.
 
Suspension is lowered to 20(can go 30 should i?)

Downforce is at Min. and sus is tight i think? (5 com 7 ext)also for spring rates i think im around 14 front 11 back 10 i cant remember.

I don't know about fully broke in, it has 600km on it i think its from ucd

You may need to lower the gearing (unless you have done as I describe, then I do not know), if you can't go faster than 248, set it at something near 280, not messing with the final drive and creating ludicrous numbers where the top speed is written. That may help.
 
Ok i slammed it,reset the transmission and ahve been tryng from between 249 and 286 for the past Few hours...

Im getting Nowhere at 246mph.... this is soo depressing that my crappy ucd viper can beat my speed 12..... :(


Does anyone with this car have this problem or can someone with this car that is doing 250+ help me out?

Im not drafting, i was able to get 247-248 out of it with 1027 Hp so i guess i`ll call it a day, i can`t get it any better and it seems to win sometimes so im happy.

I just wish i knew how that guy online had his setup as a 5 speed and pulled a 249 jumping to 250 :dunce: (spectated was Crazy a 5speed tvr 12! )
