i already said it twice that was an old video. oh and it was only my suspension that made the car hop but look closely the left wheels are still on the road side. plus when night_drift put his videos on here he always uses the close up. i like the far view.
but even if you jump those corners doubt you will come out with the time in the end. dont get mad alright i will help if you have any problems.......

Lol. I just got 1:16.73x but Okay. ;) But if you say "Its fun taking 1000hp Skylines down with my Trueno SS" I dont see why I'm limited to an SS..But okay.

those line you must turn hard and hope the car would not hit the inside plus that was an old video my new time is 1:19.19X

i rearly jump the corners i always keep at least 2 wheel on the road or rumble strip area just like in the license.

It is really fun though taking down 1000hp+ skylines with and 387hp trueno though.
Whoa whoa whoa.....You're saying it's hard to take those lines?
All you gotta do is slow down the car a bit more than usual. I do it all the time on all courses with any car because it sorta helps with cornering (or at least that's how it feels). One car that doesn't benefit from the strip is the Elise. Once you try cornering hard and hit the rumble strip with an Elise, you're gonna spin out no questions asked.

what? you got a 1:16.xxx on trial mountain with a trueno S.S. dang that is really incredible or do you mean the skyline. well as you can see when you race it is different from practicing. but yeah someone with good skill can be the 86 if they are smart. i can beat it easily but my 86 ghost straight up murders the skyline in the first half. it also counts on how much you can run the same consecetive time. i can do 1:19's all day if i wanted to with my 86. the worse time posible for my 86 is a 1:20.5xx but i rearly get those now thanks to my new set up.....

oh and yeah of course it is difficult to take those line that is if you are rushing in at high speeds.

thank you

oh and i dont believe the S.S trueno can do that 1:16:xx on trial mountain. its just not posible because of the cars lack of excelleration. i've tried and if you look at the video the corners are maxed out so far that i believe it can go no further.

naaaaahhhh i dont belive **** till i see **** guys....if ur gonna say the time u got on trial mountain...show us, it ain hard to take a snapshot of the screen containing the car and the time.
it takes me at least 8 laps warm up before i can pull under 1:30 on trial mountain.

What does that have to do with "speed drifting?" You'd still be faster grip driving.

Ethix... It has all to do with how skilled you are with the certain type of racing. So drift can be faster than grip and grip can be faster than drift. It has all to do with your techniques and skills...

No offence or anything but stop stereotyping ;)

Stereotyping? I'm merely stating fact. You might be faster at drifting than you are at grip racing, but drifting as a form of racing in general is slower than grip. There may even be turns that are faster to drift, but if you are only drifting one turn on a track, can you really say you're "Speed Drifting?"

Drifting is a part of racing. It's a technique used in racing, but it's not a form of racing.

Believe what you want to believe. I really couldn't care less. :)

When I actually get my PS2 off my TV and on my PC I can put up a video I have of me in GT4p where I had to drift a turn to get gold on the license test.

Yes please post a vid. Also, how are the physics? Can you drift pretty well in GT4? I need to sasy some gameplay, I'm dying to see a vid of GT4. Is GT4p like GTC, in the way that there are no upgrades like sim tires or hp upgrades? ;)

hey hey i created this thread cause i wanted to help some people go faster. this thread is not to argue which is faster alright. now please do not dicuss that here. it already has been dicuss with a long time ago. now need help just ask. set ups or anything fine with me.

I like to do speed drifting. it's more fun than to just make a nice drift and to impress everyone. Beating the comp while drifting is great. REMEMBER, drifting can be used in real races and helps alot.
