Speed vs. Boost

Hi, GTPlanet.

Now before you think this forum thread is a chance to poke fun at tuner cars, allow me to explain what this is about. Speed Magazine is a compact car magazine from the makers of "Road and Track" magazine; and "Boost" is a magazine of the same kind from "Car and Driver" magazine. I came across these two magazines as I went with my parents to Pearland, Texas at a Wal-Mart. Both magazines offered cool cars around my age, even including some more interesting cars (expect a Gran Turismo 4 reply or new thread soon). If you have seen both magazines and what they have to offer, please "vote" to talk about which magazine is better.

I was infact at my local superstore here in Michigan and saw Boost magizine. The title "Boost" caught my eye right away, afterall I live my life under 23 pounds of it. I really liked the magizine and I am concidering getting a subscription. Im not going to jump to a conclusion, I want to wait and see what the next issue is going to turn out to be. The magizine did seem to be alot like the others (Import Tuner, Turbo, SCC) but I do like the idea. I did like the fact that all the cars featured had times to go with it. Its too often in Import Tuner and Turbo magizine that you see a car all hooked up over thousands and thousands of dollars and no times to back it up, quickly then I loose my interest.

i haven't heard of 'Boost' magzine, but over here in australia, we do get speed magazine. But I don't think we get the same ones as in the U.S.

Damn it I wish they would show the damn car, I can't see jack from the angles they did. That's a very big pet peeve of mine and people should be shot for doing it. It's a nice Silvia anyway.

Hey dude, next time you wanna link the pics, do it as a link the folder please. It's been said a dozen times, bandwidth costs money.
