Audi Lemans Quattro Update Including Automotive Competition Week 4 Entry

Well that was a popular update! Glad to hear so many people liked it. Now my next update (the one in this post) is basically a Audi Lemans update but I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the shots so I am only showing 1 of them. But too make it a bit more padded out I decided to include my automotive competition entry. Now this was going to have a panel but I tried it but it was way too big and I don't have time to create a new one.

I was in general pleased with the results of hpw this Audi shot came out. I know the lens flare was probably not needed but I like it. The TVR Sagaris shot that was taken by TVR&FF for Automotive Week 4 I edited, I think it looks good but time will tell. Anyway enjoy!

Looking good speedster, that Le Mans has like the worst textures ever, but you made it work. I think you're going to win the Automotive comp IMO.

Thanks Loon! But I am against some stiff opposition, Rays entry and Franz's were very good. I am not overly confident as them two are photoshop wiz kids (maybe not kids to be precise but you know what I mean)! Thanks again!
 
the audi LM is looking great speedie! the lens flare could have been better if the spikes around it weren't there, but it still looks so good. the second shot is looking good too, with nice contrast and all. it's like an ad for a videogame.

I know, I said the lens flare wasn't perfect. But thanks! I hope it does well in the comp but I won't be able to tell until when the poll goes up which will be tonight. Thanks again jgda9rs.

Your shots are amazing and i gotta say im jealous:guilty:
I love the Le mans Quattro *cough*R8 shot*cough*and no not for that reason!

The lens flare looks great! but.... parts of the car are jagged and i think you could have cropped the shot(perhaps), im probaly the only person that thinks this but it looks like a small R/C like car(i don't know why:confused:).
Ive got to say that the TVR shot has to be my favourite though its amazing how much it has changed from the original!, it looks like the view you'd see if you looked in your rear view mirror in your RS4 Avant:p

Wayyy!! He is back in the game! Good to see you around again Tommi, I have been lonely without you. Glad to see that you are completley back to normal (sort of). I know that parts are jaggy but it isn't my best ever update. Thanks for the comment on the TVR shot as well. And you can be in your RS4 and I will be in the TVR..now lets see who will win in this round...
 
Well sorry for the double post but seeming I am on holiday from tommorrow until next (late) Saturday. I thought that it would be a good idea for me to show a preview of my next update which is also going to be my 50th which is a special update for me, so I want to make it important with a important meaning. This is a tiny winy little preview of the update.

EDIT: I only see one thing that's messed up man...The side view mirror is part of the blur....

BTW, the mine in Sudbury was going long before the prius was even thought of.
 
very informative, and a great update too, except for the driver side (or should i say passenger side since it's a jdm car) mirror. great colors and lighting though. enjoy your holiday!

Thanks Cod_Father. I know that the mine was going before the Prius was made but according my Topgear Magazine that I got last month, which included 20 facts Sudbury's Mine is now damaged so much that NASA use it. But anyway thanks for dropping by.

Well I am back....still wishing I was still on holiday, Lincolnshire doesn't quite have the same views as Devon. I see no one else has commented on this. I am going to check out the rest of the stuff I have misssed and sort out CCCL stuff then I will update. It is nice to be back.

Oh man, sory about not giving you a warm welcome back, I haven't been checking the gallerys real hard lately so I guess I missed it. Well for what it's worth, Welcome Back Speedster.

I think the angle you chose is kinda of a common angle but I've never seen it done with a Prius, so it makes it new and fresh. You made that car look hella fast, which is hard to do IMO. I'm really liking all the bright and vibrant colors you're using with these shots.

That is fine Loon, I forgive you. I did notice that you weren't checking out galleries recently. I know that the shot is quite a common angle but because it was a Prius I thought that it could be made into something new and quite different. The car does look fast doesn't it, bet it isn't running on its precious batteries now is it? :lol:. Thanks again Loon and don't worry about it!

Did you put the motor from the Toyota Supra in the Prius? To make it really fast...
 
Sweet prius shots speedster. I especially like the 2nd one. The wheel blur looks well applied to it. Also the reflections and vibrant colours in both are great. 👍
 
that's a nice photo speedy! and WELCOME BACK! sorry i havent been in your gallery. havent really been paying attention lately. it's nice to see a prius looking like it's going fast. you made it look like you shoe horned a K20R from the DC5 for the photoshoot :lol: great shot though, very colorful and vibrant.
i would recommend doing something with the light around the foglight area though. but all in all a very impressive update. much better than the last one

well it wasn't exactly a big deal, i was just nit picking, and it wasn't about the foglights, what i was trying to point at, and you dont have to worry about it coz maybe it's just me, but i noticed the light around the foglight and the lower right part just outside the bumper has that weird reflection around it from the light coming from the foglights, but then again that's gt4's fault. forget that i pointed that out though :D i was just being picky.
