Spelling and grammar

i'm generally pretty good with my spelling, grammar, and sentence structure but i like to be lazy and dismiss the capitals unless i'm referring to a proper noun ......there are some people in this forum whose english skills more resemble mine when i was in grade 2 .....i guess that they either dropped out of school or maxed out their potential ....or are simply too ignorant to care ...or had really bad teachers but it baffles me b/c i consider myself average in english

I think what you're talking about can be summed up by two words, "clue" and "care". Which I define as:

clue - an individual's amassed knowledge of a given topic
care - an individual's desire to do work or properly perform a task

One of my former room mates used to talk about his extreemly dense coworkers, refering to "beating them with his clue-by-four" (for those of you nonAmericans, it's a referance to a 2 inch x 4 inch piece of lumber).

<Jim> So Jack was asking me questions about the NT servers again. He's the MCSE of the group! We're supposed to be asking him about NT! So I proceded to beat him with my clue-by-four, most of which went over his head.

I've meet Jack. Jack's not a bright boy.
