SpeltzGDZ’s tunes for GT7

Here I’m going to be compiling a list of all my tunes for Gran Turismo 7. These will be organized alphabetically, and listed with their Performance Point rating.
My tunes and setups typically focus a bit more on smooth driving, as I feel more comfortable with understeer than oversteer.
You might also notice that, on occasion, a tune will be without any aero parts or downforce mods. I do this out of the fact that I love cars and want to appreciate the way they look sometimes.
So if that’s what you’re into, give my tunes a try. Feel free to request new ones whenever.

Audi RS5 Turbo DTM ‘19​

This RS5 tune is a very simple one, as there really isn’t much the car needs to have done to it in order to make it work exceptionally well for races like Sardegna. This tune has been taken down a notch specifically to race there. You may get some slight understeer on occasion, but it’s quite balanced on the whole.

BMW M4 ‘14

To be entirely honest, I was rather disappointed with this car. I didn’t want to have to take the Performance Points rating down by adding so much rear downforce, but the characteristics at low speeds left me with no other real option, it seemed. This, however, does not make it a write-off of a car, as it does still have some quite respectable performance.

Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo​

This Amuse S2000 is an exceptionally well handling car. It feels extremely smooth, and very little has been done to the settings of the car. It’s been given wide rims and the low custom wing. It may not have the highest top end speed, but it handles like a dream.

Porsche 959 ‘87

This car is a very special one to me, and I was really happy to get into tuning it. Similar to many of my other tunes, the car has a little bit of understeer, but this is easily manageable. Fast, smooth, and fun car. It can be a little bit tricky when braking every now and then, so be prepared for that.

Note: If the braking is too unstable for you, decrease front toe out to 0.00. This will increase understeer, but fix any braking instability.

Note: If you don’t want to deal with too much understeer from getting rid of the front toe out, change the brake bias between -4 and -5 as needed.

BMW M2 Competition ‘18

This M2 really is a wonderful car to mess around with, and is a little different from many of my other tunes. It has a certain degree of oversteer that you should be aware of in low gear, but the car rides quite nice and feels very good on a track. Only issue is a sensitivity to oversteer in 1st and 2nd, due to the massive amount of torque this car has.

Note: Past 2nd gear, the oversteer stops.

Mercedes-AMG SLS ‘10

Really spectacular car, just great to use. It, however, is a car you might need to be careful with. It’s not something where you can just slam onto the gas, you need to be a little smart about throttle application. If you get it down, though, it feels incredible. Fun, smooth, fast, and extremely good looking.​
