Which car is good for this race in the prof? I bought a Shelby and did all the mods to it but I dont like that car? Any others that can beat those little shi! cars? HAte that race. And also does anyone have any good settings for the Elise race? I have the Motor Sport but cant seem to beat those cars either. Thanks in advanced!

in Pro mode i would suggest the Vauxhall 220.

check my write up on this race and the car i chose and the field i beat here. There are setting for this car in the settings forum that should make it possible to win with. You could try the RUF as yer man ^^ suggested but its not my reccomendation.

The Ruf will easily handle the field. Your problem with the Cobra is too much power. TRy dropping most of hte power modifications off it, and see if it handles better.

The key is to realize that More Power is not the answer. Better driving is. It's much easier to drive a 400hp car fast than it is to drive a 1000hp car fast.

Well said Der Alta.

I find the RUF quite slippery at high power. That said, I enjoy driving slippery cars because well, I'm a bit of a "tail-steps-out-exiting-the-corner" freak, but I think more precise cars are the go for this sort of event where the competition is close. I'd go for an MR2 Spider.

I will try taking a little horsepower off of the Shelby. I think I just dont like that car. Something about it. But that makes sense. Thanks. Any idea about the Elise settings?

Hmm. The Elise is a high-speed, medium-horsepower car so I'd go for high-speed, slippery setting, ie take the ASM and TCS right down, 0 and 1 respectively, and set the gears up for fast acceleration at the low end and high speed at the top end.

Just my point of view. You may like a more precise cars, but slippery cars do it for me.

Check out these Elise settings....there for the Motor Sport version and they make the Elise Trophy and Spider/Roadster and absolute breeze....

(some silly dude actually put these settings in the 'settings' forum...weird)

I ran a modest-build Mugen S2000 and had little trouble. I will second the notion that more driving beats more power hands down.
