Anything originating from hip hop culture that goes on cars is ghey. It's fadish and stupid. It's all about showing off, and there is no real passion for automobiles. I'm really getting tired of seeing cars modified for the sole purpose of attracting attention, not that they enjoy cars or anything. :grumpy:

Jon.
Linkage doesn't work, although i'm kinda glad....

Same here - link doesn't seem to be working. From the description of them i don't think they should warrant such a high price tag. I'm sure they are just going to be used in 'music videos' attract attention, cause a little hype then die out like with Spinners.

It might be kinda neat to have a camera on the inside of the wheel recording th road as you drive. Then the camera feed could be displayed on the rim using these LEDs so it would look like your wheels were just rings - no hub at all.

Anyway, I find it difficult to imagine a bigger waste of money.

Spinners are not "has been", they're a "never were", at least in my book. Same thing with these "Pimpstar rims".

I hate all this dub stuff. People add sub-wofers and a gazillion LCD screens to their cars, and call it pimp. I call it "adding weight". You're car is fat not phat. Oh and BTW I don't think rappers have the word tacky in their dictionary.

They had these at Detroits Autorama, they are cool but something I'd never do. But I would imagine they would be illegal for road use, making them entirely pointless to own.

I can just imagine some idiot saving up for years to put these on their '89 civic thats all riced out. Its just so stupid. If I see a car with any of those around I WILL destroy things.

i can't believe that anybody would want those things. But if they plan to sell somebody will want them. :yuck:
