dude... I wasn't laughing at you when I suggest you to lock-up the 2J but trying to help you to gain some reputation in here....


let me be the honest but bad guy in here....


you can only drive the 2J, and win couple races here and there in causal night(s)...

and you always make a big deal of it....

where nobody cares about the causal... it is annoying....

it's annoying not because we lost to you, but you make a big deal and keep on telling people you are so fast in the 2J and blah blah blah....

it is not you buddy, it's not your skills that make you win!!!

It's the 2J that makes you win a couple of causal races.


On all other races, main events, you are really bad and nowhere close to the mid-field.

and to make things worse, you quit the race half-way when you are behind.

and you always have a habit of pushing the opponents to the grass.

You thought you have skills when you won couple causal races with the 2J...??



We all trying to help you but you just don't listen!!!


I tell you to lock you 2J is not because I/we want to restrict you from the 2J, but if you want to be a fast human, get your arse to some other car and start to learn driving!!!!!

humble and listen to others advice, don't blame others but yourself and learn..!!!


If you use all you talking energy on learning and driving, you'll be fast someday.


My advice to you....


sell the 2J after the Mphile race, grab different kinds of road and race cars and start driving on different tracks other than the Ring, also, be humble and learn. You've got a long way to go, even to the mid-field.

^that's my advice, take it or leave it.

I think he should print this out and read it.

Its amazing how everyone here is trying to help him including educating him on achieving the next level of driving a virtual race car.
-He's been offered a driving seat.
-Advice on which wheel to purchase
-Told to leave that damn washing machine at home.

He's been told to keep his mouth shut long enough to hear that there's a crash ahead. Does he listen? No, he drives right into it.

He said he got 'ticked off at himself for his bad driving.' So he didn't care who he knocked off the track.
He slams into another driver, blames me and then jumps out of the game.


You guys have so much to offer him from the BTTC in the U.K. to the V8 Supercars in Australia.
The Formula One world, the U.S. motorsports, the DTM in Europe. I'm sure I'm leaving a form of motorsports out. Sorry.

I could go on. In the end I'm still pissed off at myself for believing in him. What a stupid fool I am.

I think he should print out my post and wipe the cricket crap on his kitchen floor.

Racing seat: You bought that and then gave me flak over it because you thought that was why I popped in and out of the BRZ event, and then pushed me to my breaking point in the subsequent argument. Didn't even want it anyways.

Steering wheel: Learned that lesson the hard way, saving up for a T300.

2J: I don't care what anyone thinks of the 2J anymore. I hardly use it anyways.


Mic/crashing: Uh, pardon me...I'm deaf. How am I supposed to hear a crash notification over my TV?

The bad driving thing: That was one race at Suzuka and I was having a bad day (winning mentality). The other thing: That was a NASCAR race and I still have no clue who I hit. I jumped out because the damage was on Heavy and my car was wrecked clean through.

As for the different classes of cars:
BTTC: I've not dabbed in a lot.
V8 Supercars: There's only one in the game, the Falcon 2000. I use V8 Supercars on my "crackbox one" because Forza included a whole bunch while PD missed them.
F1: Don't like it, also haven't felt right driving F1 cars.
US Motorsports: You mean drag racing and NASCAR? :lol: I'd rather shoot myself than drive in a NASCAR lobby or drag race against a bunch of immature kids with Veyrons and GTRs.
DTM: I went through that whole enduro event with you and even though I didn't listen to your advice (as I had tried that tune already) I did reasonably well.

I'm pretty sure you missed a lot:
D1GP
LeMons and LeMans style racing
GT3, LMPs, GT500/300
Road car racing
Rally racing
Theme style races
One-make races

That said, I'd kindly suggest that you'd stop roaring in my deaf ear. I'd give you a steak if you did.

I will also say if u have ever stood along the strip when top fuel or funny car go by u will not say one bad thing about it. Its an amazing experience, trust me! As for the circle track boys it still takes a ton of skill to turn left, just saying...

Don't forget that the Canadian American series, which the 2J was a part of, later directly evolved into the modern LMP class.
 
While as a Canadian I think CAN/AM was great, it does not exist anymore. Just because any given car has outright speed over the rest of the field does not make it great. The Chaparral 2D was a great car and you seem to have completely overlooked it. CAN/AM was nothing as a true test of a car, they just had to work for about 2 hours and that's it. The 2D competed in and WON the Nurburgring 1000km. Let me elaborate, One THOUSAND Kilometres. Your 2J, while fast, would never ever do that distance because it constantly broke down. Back to CAN/AM though, the car's competitors were great cars as well, the McLaren M 1 through 8 series racecars were the utter pinnacle of CAN/AM competition and beat everything to a pulp pretty much every year. We all know the history of the car you love so much and the "reputation" it had so please stop talking about it.

I'll be straight with you, new alien to human, most of the reason I became alien was by driving crappy cars and making them faster than most of the average online field. Sure some guys would pull out ridiculous Focus RS's or RX500's but the rest of the field I could beat in my Maserati, or 1970 Skyline or other fairly badly rated cars when it comes to pp racing. My Renault R8 Gordini has won races against fields of much better stuff, know why? I drove it really well and tuned it right. Heck I've won in a big station wagon in your average joe pp race lobby because I drove it well and tuned it the same. I have buddies that can back me up on that win if you're skeptical.

None of us here want to turn anyone away, as made obvious by the number of us who are trying to help you. If you'd at least give responses that, in the absolute least, acknowledge us then we wouldn't be so frustrated, but you don't. You just ignore us and reply on something else that doesn't involve people giving advice. On the note of you being deaf, that isn't the worst thing to not have while playing this game. You just need to adapt to that disability, so you should be taking your braking cues from your RPM and where you are on the track. I have a friend who's on all the time and he has nerve damage in his right thumb, index, and middle finger, while you think on that also think about him using a DS3 because that's what he's got. He accelerates and brakes with his ring finger and he's still fast.

The mic. I haven't heard you talk but I know guys who have a similar reputation as you for the amount of use their microphone gets. I don't know how much you paid for it, but sell it, your talking is distracting you and other drivers. My buddy coltsjugg goes quite a bit faster when he turns his off so you should attempt the same thing, bunions and clogged toilets are not what anyone want's to hear about at anytime, let alone when they're doing something fun.

So, please heed all the advice being given here today, and not just from me. If you don't, don't expect to be around here too much longer, most people are sick of your shenanigans and just want to have fun again because this is their spare time, and you have a tendency to ruin it.
 
I've copied your message into a memo so I can reread it later, EHteam. I've not had a 2D in the garage for a while now so need to take another shot at it.

I will be keeping the mic so I can run my club faster, but I'll see about leaving it off the next time I run alongside you guys.

Edit: Hm...I should start somewhere.

Anyways, the new Nissan LMP. That thing is supposed to be an FF car? I have a feeling the drivetrain may have some issues.

OB, do you know in the Daytona Race 2 weeks ago, Mphile was dropped from 3rd to 10~11th at the beginning and I was dropped from 2nd to 12th at the beginning...

And eventually he finished 1st and I finished 2nd....!!!

Don't quit and just drive...!!!!!

OB, do you know in the Daytona Race 2 weeks ago, Mphile was dropped from 3rd to 10~11th at the beginning and I was dropped from 2nd to 12th at the beginning...

And eventually he finished 1st and I finished 2nd....!!

it was frustrating at the beginning... you know... I was 2nd on the grid.

At the 1st corner aveena was trying to avoid the inside curb and he toss my car to the outside curb, I got a penalty and spin-out, sitting on the run-off til dropped to 9th(?)

then have to fight my way against the mid-field pack...

got distracted from an incident thus spun-out again...

dropped to 12th at one point and I was some 30~40s behind the leader...

I was like "omg.. race's over man... no way I can catch up on those aliens with 40s gap....."


but eventually regroup myself (mentally), keeps my heads up, stick to my strategy and you can see it from the result.


That's why I always say, "just shut up and drive!!"

I say that to myself too.

put it this way, race is never easy, they didn't slow down or make room for me to pass.

I out brake Manny at the bus stop and the next lap he out brake me at corner 6, I was behind Tarkus1 and I have to find room to pass him too.

not to mention I followed Mphile for couple laps and gave him the spot back because of an misunderstanding.


on my last stint I was behind Gordon for many laps, I was clearly faster but he gave me no room, eventually I spun out because of my rushing, and lost my position to Mphile.

not to mention I was almost out of fuel and tires on the last two laps that I have to cruise them a 2mins/lap...


so it wasn't easy as you think.


but one thing I have to admit, I had a clear track at the beginning when I was 40s behind the leader and I was quite a bit behind everyone.

I also have a clear track at some point because of my pit-strategy thus I can avoid the traffic.


If you say they let me pass, I rather say the SAC drivers are all gentlemen!!!
