image.jpg image.jpg My old man and me trading some paint today, and yes im giving him the bird on the slick track, haha. We ran 2 races on the road course they have also. We raced with some league guys and they run mid 22's and my dad had a 23.338 i managed a 24.480 with a bent cart(steering wheel had my hands at a 2&8 oclock position going straight, wtf lol)

That looks an awful lot like the place I was thinking of that has multiple indoor tracks. Is it in an ex-Walmart, because that's what the one I've heard about was in.

At 7:30 PM EST Tonight

Downtown Tokyo will play host for two Mini races in preparation for the

Feb 18th Tokyo R246 Grand Event

The 1st race will be a PQR race. 10 laps
The 2nd race will be a PR with reverse grid order. 10 laps

Both races will have all the same settings as the Grand Event.

The fans in Japan have been so supportive of this race including the original

World Tour of Japan GT 300 that plans are being discussed to bring that series back and run them as Grand Events.

Tokyo at night in northern Tokyo:
2. Special Stage Route 5
3. Fuji Grand Prix circuit
4. Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
5. Suzuka

Dates will be announced as they become available

Also planned tonight is a trip to Monte Carlo

Ten laps using A. Senna's car.

Thanks to all that attended tonight's pre-race practice.

The Grand Event will have two rule changes
1. Qualifying will be increased to 8 minutes instead of 5 minutes.
2. The Subaru Imprezza will receive an additional +5 HP. 315HP 👍

The Announcement Sheet will get updated

All other settings will remain the same.

There are two remaining slots available.

I'm not sure if the Lexus is faster. I think its more of a stable chassis that is easy on the tires.
So pushing the limits longer is not a problem. Sort of like the SC430s.

If you check out the Super GT web site. The other cars are starting to look like the Lexus.
PD seems to have modeled the characteristics to the real race cars.

The RX-7s in the right hands along with the BRZs can be winners too.

The CUSCO Subaru has 4WD drive. Tuning it right w/ two additional driving tires should make it competitive.
Who knows, if I can schedule the additional races, post 6846. Who knows. Hmmm

The series could be wide open.

What really scares me. tarkus1 shows up and races. :nervous:

Definitely tonight was interesting. Especially at Monte Carlo.
We had on the podium. An alien :crazy:, a human :drool: , and one vicious animal :eek:.

The Garaiya is the dominate car. Consistent 1:40. 1xx on cold tires. Hmm, All those driving Lexus need to watch out. Of course, Subaru and the RX-7 could steal the show. :crazy:

What? I went to bed at 3:30 am pacific time trying to get below the 1:44 s and I couldn't do it, I must be dumb and suck at tuning then. I don't know how you guys do it but I think I missed that class in school!
 
Which car are driving?
One tip:
You want a little give as you run onto a curb or rumble strip.
That may not be your preferred driving line, but if you have to. You don't want the car jumping violently.
Your suspension is too stiff.

Same time here. Barely breaking into 1:44. No way I can shave 4 secs off my time, but my goal is a second at a time. In this group I don't have a chance for a podium in an endurance. I'm not giving up on the Impreza though.

you know what, I am seriously thinking about it....

while sometimes I am lucky to be in the 2nd or 3rd... most of the time I am running alone when the leader(s)/alien(s) (ie Mphile, Aveena, simalive and EH_Team43) are long gone and way ahead... it's like running a practice run myself... :crazy::crazy:

I know! I don't know what is wrong with those ETs they just don't get tired of leaving us in the dust, I'm starting to think they enjoy it! LMAO
 
Depending if the two drivers can make it - we're shooting for this Thursday's casual night.........

All this excitement about The main event makes me sad - I'm bummed I can't make it!!

Ole as long as its not the last race on thurs night im in. I cant make the whole night sometimes because it gets late. Half way into casual night would be good maybe? Hmmmmmm what will we be driving?
