Ok, gentlemen
To help me build better Main Events and reduce any misinterpretations of the Rules. Here's your first question.

1. How long in real time do you guys want the race to be?
A. 30 minutes. B. 1 hour. C. 90 minutes. D. 2 hours. E. longer.

You can send your answers to either tarkus1 or stockerace using the psn.

Just enter in the text. 1. A,B,C,D,or E.





ADDED: It would be nice if tarkus1 and stockerace got the answer.
So there's no confusion as to who sent what.

There is no time limit so think about it.

I have a wheel - so I don't want to hinder those that don't....
but anything for me is fine!!!!

ideally my vote is
2 main events a year 2hours - one every 6 months
3 main events a year 1hour

and our weekly events being half casual and half region/pp specific

I have the least seniority - so please view my votes as such......

Be Aware of the Germans! They will come!
Don't know which car yet tho. Didn't get enough testing will start tonight!
Most likely it will be the Zonda but I dont know for sure.
 
Next question. Do you guys want the cars to be judged by just a PP or PP, HP, and weight.

If the cars are judged by PP alone then all we'll have is a bunch of gutted out cars.

My ongoing effort has always been to make these events both challenging and educational.
To see who can figure out the best combination between weight, HP, and......drivablity.

The two Shelby GT 500 Main Events was a great example of that.

I think after this Thursdays event we'll be able to tell more if THE BOX we're all trying to fit in worked.
same PP / same HP / Same weight restriction
I think if this proves for a close race where driver excellence or failure determines the podium that would be ideal!

We should be able to learn a lot from this event.
Like if even more limitations / car research need to be placed to keep cars close... or if a structure like this provides everyone the ability to tune similar cars to hopefully about a 2second window -- and then may the best driver win....

that's ideal for me - a driving club not a tuning club....

I think this Thursday should be able to tell us a lot if we did good trying to keep all these cars close!!!

If the cars are judged by PP alone then all we'll have is a bunch of gutted out cars.

My ongoing effort has always been to make these events both challenging and educational.
To see who can figure out the best combination between weight, HP, and......drivablity.

The two Shelby GT 500 Main Events was a great example of that.

I think what you've been doing is fine. For the main events we have to really get into the nitty gritty and not just come out with a PP limit. So yes, Hp, weight, etc. should come into play. Of course casual nights are another story and as I've said before. What you posted on the casuals has been perfect. A good mix of cars with some "one make" races thrown in. Just don't let the HP and weight restrictions find its way into the casual nights. My brain is already hurting.
 
Is it ok if I hook a tether to one of your bumpers during the race so I can stay with the pack?

Not much just watching some cars go around the track.

I got call into work to catch a C-17. Damn thing didn't show up until 3:00 in the morning.

Really, so what's up with that car parked against the wall?
I don't know, but that's one of the cars that was on that C-17.

Wow, wo, wo, THAT car was on that plane?
Yeah.

Ahhh, what else was on that plane?
Another car. A red and white striped one.

Did.... you see any numbers on it? A 51 or 91?
I don't remember.

Did.... you see a Dodge or Chrysler sticker on it?
I don't remember, but it did have racing stickers.

Ok, ok, were there any females on the plane?
Oh heck yeah, six of them. I remember that. Oh yeah.

Alright, alright clam down. At least your brain is working in one area.
Did any of them say anything?

Naa, they just unloaded that car, locked up the plane and said thanks.

Well its safe to say they're here.

How do you figure?

That's the team owner's car. They travel in a C-17 and there's a red and white striped car with racing stickers still in the plane.

Oh, boy.
Yeah you keep an eye on that plane and let me know if anyone goes near it.
