Due to the heat i think Tarkus should schedule some events in the desert (willow, laguna, maybe some offroading)

I know but the problem is I work two jobs that day for another two weeks after that Ill be getting off at 4:30 and with the 45 to 50 minutes drive it will be hard

I gotcha now, so what happens after you're done the second job, still the same for sundays or could you possibly make it? Sure you might miss one or 2 races but we'd love to have you for whatever you can make it for, but no pressure to show up, family first buddy.

It's all in the spoilers, all the cars listed under the 90's spoiler in the car and performance spoiler are available for racing as long as they aren't full.

I'm not sure how much the mods like all the stuff about it being talked about in this thread so I think they'd like it if we moved to that thread to at least ask and answer questions. It would be a bonus for me too because the thread would get put back to the top and would be noticed by potential members. 👍

yes the same for Sundays! Sundays I get off at 10:30pm pacific time but just for another 2 weeks, after those 2 weeks I'll have just one job and its from 7:30am to 4:30pm PT but maybe if I get off 30 minutes early! we'll see what happens!

Thursday night details 7-30-15 back to casual racing (for now)

Race 1 - Also known as the warm up race. Off to Europe to start the night. Rome 5 laps, 500PP any car.
Race 2 - F1 Gt is back but since we just ran a million laps at Silverstone.....What's another 5 more with no tire wear. Flat out to the wall speed to post the fastest lap times.
Race 3 - Missing Tarkus race - Trial mountain at 550PP any car.
Race 4 - Time to head to the desert for some racing action at Willow Springs. Winner of previous race picks PP for this race.
Race 5 - Another "vs" battle - pick the two top mfgr's and go at it. Porsche vs Lambo, etc.
race 6 - One make race at Laguna Seca. car to be determined at race time.
Race 7 - It's been a bit but Midfield Mayhem is back with full B/S.
race 8 - F1's again but this is more like a practice run for the upcoming event. 10 laps at indy road course. get that oil changed.
Race 9 - Vision Gt battle but NO Tomohawks. VFT.

A very colorful phrase, one needs to be careful when using "balls to the wall". Although its real origin is very benign, mos people assume it is a reference to testicles.
In fact it is from fighter planes. The "balls" are knobs atop the plane's throttle control. Pushing the throttle all the way forward, to the wall of the cockpit, is to apply full throttle.

term used by pilots. when accelerating quickly, the throttle is pushed all the way to the panel and the throttle lever (ball) actually touches the panel (wall). Hence, balls to the wall.

Steam engines had mechanical regulators that consisted of a pair of hinged lever arms with a ball on the end of each arm, as the engine sped up the centrifugal force caused the arms to raise up closing a valve. If you adjust the regulator so that the arms go to horizontal (with the balls pointing to the wall) without closing the valve you are not limiting the speed of the engine.
When the captain called for balls to the wall, we stoked the fire and pushed the throttle to full.

Originally a military term for pushing maximum G-Forces in a jetfighter aircraft, as in pushing the ball of a throttle as high up as it will go (virtually touching the wall of the dashboard).

Fast; hectic; pushed to the limits
We hit the road, balls to the wall; The fighter let loose on his opponent, balls to the wall.

So alex "balls to the wall" is not crashing your car against the wall
Its not when cops push you against the wall hence hitting your balls to the wall
its not a reference to hitting your testicles against a woman's V@&%#$
but is often used for this and some other references that I don't have time to write. LMAO

Hi all, sorry for not coming back last night. After the 3 or 4th time that I was disconnected from the room I thought that it was me that was having the problem. When I came back in the room at Willow Springs, the race had already started. I watched you guys race and everyone in the room was glitching. As I flipped through every car in the room, everyone was stuttering around the track, tire smoke was coming off of everyone's tires as they were going around. I jumped out and started a room of my own to see if I was having a problem. Next thing you know, I had 8-10 guys show up and start racing with no problems or disconnects. So, not sure where the problem was coming from but I don't think that it was me, myself. I'll try again next week and see what happens.
