How do you get 3 monitors to work on one console.
E.g Out the windscreen? and like side mirrors?

You could find some repaired YLOD consoles for cheap, I mean if they're only ever going to be used for GT5 there's no point buying brand new ones. They don't have to be the same model, you could use a fat, slim and super slim if you wanted... Or wait for the PS4 to come out and get a preowned PS3 when they drop in price (I'm assuming they'll drop quickly, anyway). There are options, but frankly I wouldn't bother unless the consoles are almost free.

Triple monitor on a PC, on the other hand... Now that's something else!

You need a PC with a graphics card that can display on three monitors at once (Nvidia do the GTX 660Ti, 670 and 680, it's possible even the 660 and/or 650 do too but I wouldn't bother as they're too low-end to be any good at that resolution, I don't know which AMD cards do it though but there are some) or two cards in SLI or XFire (like two 570s or something, it basically means you connect them together to get essentially dual/triple/quad-core graphics processing), but once you've got that and your three monitors - they must all have the same resolution (not necessarily the same size though) if you're using an Nvidia card - just plug them in, go to the Nvidia control panel and turn Surround on. After that your surround resolution will be selectable in games.

Other options include the Triple Head2Go, SoftTH (requires two graphics cards, but they don't have to be the same) and... I think that's it. Don't ask me how to use those though. I personally use a GTX 680 with three 1680x1050 monitors and it works almost flawlessly. The only problem I have is my taskbar acts up sometimes.

It's still not cheap but it's more versatile than buying two more PS3s just for one game. I think SoftTH is probably the cheapest option but I don't know how good it is. Oh and you'll definitely want a wheel if you haven't already got one.

Cant afford that but got a G27 set-up:)

If you're looking for a bit more immersion you could also make a FreeTrack head tracker (for PC), it's not perfect but it's better than nothing. There's also TrackIR (that's the more expensive option or FaceTrackNoIR which just uses a webcam to watch your face, I don't know how good that is but you'll need a lot of light for it to work well I'd imagine.

What does the webcam have to do with split screens??

Easiest best way is drop a few hundo on a decent video card and scrounge up 3 similar TVs/monitors, assuming your PC meets basic gaming specs. I dreamed of doing triples for years, the PC makes it happen where the consoles were just too expensive. Of course, if it has to be GT or Forza, well it is what it is.

It tracks your head rotation so you can look left and right in the game, giving you a wider field of view, without the triple monitor setup. It costs the price of a webcam so if you can't afford the gear to have a triple monitor setup it's a decent compromise. PC only, though, GT5 also does head tracking but I think it's only in Arcade mode.

Never mind then. TIME TO SAVE UP!
