Splitscreen Question

Anyone know why when I'm racing vs. a buddy in the same room using split screen, both of us using g27 race wheel; The top of the split screen (me) has the HUD display showing current gear/speed gears and the bottom (him) screen does not? And depending on the race/car it can be vice versa or even both with or without very strange. We cant figure out how to always have HUD on for both splitscreens.
 
Its a glitch from the 2.02 update.
I believe it is mentioned in this thread, along with all other changes/glitches from the 2.02 update.
Also make sure you use the search function before creating a new thread. It keeps GTPlanet from getting cluttered with duplicate threads.

Yes sometimes you get a HUD and sometimes you don't. Certainly annoying when using manual with loud cars. I could use interior view .. oh wait no I can't.
