My Beetle is up first! I painted it in my 'official' colors, orange, blue and white. I added some pink to the mirrors and rear wing for the breast cancer awareness this month but I'll probably keep it permanently as awareness is always good, not just one month a year!

My website logo, of which the main colors are taken/inspired, isn’t on her yet, so I've slapped a few logos on while we're waiting for the upload feature.

When I went out to pick a group 4 car, I was completely leaning towards the Mazda Altena as it looks beautiful, so I got the car and did some testing and racing with it, but somehow the car just didn’t feel right, the braking was horrible and the 4WD didn’t gave me what I was looking for... So I went back to the Brand Central, to look for a different car. I was contemplating the Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi Lancer, but both being 4WD, I was worried they would have the same issues I had with the Mazda. I was set on getting a sedan style car and after more ‘hard’ thinking, I went with the BMW M4 After some testing, I really liked the handling of the car, so without further ado, I present the BMW M4 Gr.4 in Spongeinside racing team colors!

Nürburgring Ring-Taxi (semi) replica.

I took some artistic liberty on some of the details, but it’s pretty close to what a ring-taxi looks like. It’s my first replica and first public livery. It probably should have been made for the road car, but I kinda realized that a bit too late when I was already almost done, the Gr.4 car has only 1 seat, so it’s not much of a 'taxi', but since you have to drive the car yourself and can't take someone with you or watch from the passenger seat, I don’t think it'll matter much

When you save and upload a livery it’s only so you can apply it and so others can see it when you race online. They’re ‘private’ by default. If you want a livery to be available for others to download you have to specifically share it, that’s when you have to add tags and a description.

Mazda LM55 Vision Gran Turismo

I was gifted this car today for completing the daily distance So I threw my team livery on it, and, imho it looks pretty awesome!

Update: after posting pictures I noticed I forgot the racing number, and when I went back to put one on, the option wasn't available so I tried to integrate one in a way it didn’t look too out of place and mess with the livery, but visible enough to be clearly seen...

VW Beetle Gr.4 Tamiya Sand Scorcher replica

So a couple of weeks ago, I suggested the idea of replicating the Tamiya Sand Scorcher livery on the Gr.4 Beetle. I didn’t have the game at that point, so I posted in the requests thread. But since I now obviously have the game, I decided that I should give it a try myself. A few logos on the car were actually in the game, although not the exact version but pretty close, a few weren’t and my reference picture wasn’t really of good enough quality, so I swapped them for logos that kinda looked the same so I took some 'artistic' freedom to make it look nice.

What you see below it the result of about 2,5 hours of trying to replicate the car, I hope you'll like it! Tags: #tamiya, #sandscorcher, #spongeinside.

Retro Classi Beetle Gr.3

My third public livery is based on again a Tamiya Sand Scorcher r/c car livery, I came across this one while browsing Pinterest It had a very retro style livery that I really liked, so decided to try and replicate it for the Gr.3 Beetle.

Tamiya Bigwig inspired replica

A Tamiya Bigwig inspired replica for the Peugeot RCZ Gr.3 car. I took some artistic freedom in some parts of the color scheme and added a few logos that looked 'right' or were actually featured on various Tamiya models but tried not to overdo it
