Round 4 -SuZuka Circuit

*RACE DETAILS*
Arcade Mode / Hotlap
Quick Tune +20 hp and -10 weight
You must choose Medium Tyres!
Autospeed Settings + ASM + TSC are optional



*RULES*
All Drivers must save the replay of their submitted time!
Only T2 times to be discussed!
*You must have 2 Wheels on track at all times*
*Verification from the Top 5 drivers is required in every round *



*SUBMITTING*
Send all sectors and the full laptime to me via PM
I wont open any PM's until the final day!as long as they are Titled correctly!
Please Title your PM like this example: S.O.T.B-R4-'your name'
Results and the next Round will be posted on the same day
*Deadline = Friday 4th November @ 9pm GMT+1*

Are the green bands after rumble strips (for ex. in the last chicane) in or off track ?

Hi Tannis
The green bands are not allowed to be used as the track end in this combo ... you must still have at all times 2 tyres on the red and white rumbles as the outermost boundary on any section of track where they occur 👍

Ok guys an update in the rules that may come in useful :)

Before you start your lap you can cut across the chicane and gain extra speed .... But!!!.... you can not use the same move to end that flying lap 👍 it must not show the cut in the replay or you will fail! ... as you obviously done it at the end of the lap :crazy:

make the most of this little move as you can gain about 4mph extra at the startline of the lap ;)

Why allow this? Because you can't check the exact speed of the car at the start of the replay?

I'd rather vote for relying on the honesty of people. I don't have much time to race and now I have to restart every lap because I need those extra tenths to still have a slight chance of winning this race 👎

I had to restart every lap in my BC race. It was really annoying and killing my rythm. Don't really feel to facing this stuff again :yuck:

It was brought to my attention by a driver and I thought the best way to deal with it was to allow it :indiff:

I cant check every replay to see who has and hasn't done it! so I thought allowing it would leave it as a non issue come the results?

If you's all agree to not cutting that section before the lap then we can put it as ruling not to allow it! but it was brought to my attention by someone else! ... so hopefully you can understand why I added this originally?

I just ran some laps and used that method and took .3 off my best lap pretty easily :nervous:

I just hate to restart everytime. If somebody else uses this method to gain a few more tenths, I'd have an excuse in the end :p But I'd rather see everybody drive the more realistic way :sly:
 
Ok then!

I deleted my above post and ... cutting the chicane before the lap is now disallowed .... I will have to ask everyone to play fair and not use this method .... as I cant believe only 1 driver had it cross his mind ;)
