I was sure the SRT ACR would take the gold, but they judged it a little differently, more for the real world sport compact drivers, not just the autocrossers and weekend warriors !

I was surprised the Cobalt didn't score higher, I drive the SS one at work all the time and I find it to be great to tell you the truth. The ION isn't as bad as they made it sound either, you can actually say Saturn and fast when you talk about it.

We've (my boss rather with me in the pass. seat) had the Coblat SS up to 145mph around the test track and there was still some left in it.

I agree about the RSX though, I finally drove one the other day and I must say I'm impressed with it. You really can rip through the gears quick though with that thing, and I would assume it's really easy to get in trouble with the 5-0 with that thing.

Also easy to snap it into 2nd gear instead of 4th when you're 16, downshifting, and are pushing it too hard...

Those cars look so bland. Not a very exciting lineup I have to say.
That's what ghastly bodykits and overdesigned, oversized rims are for...

I wish RSX had a sedan model like the Integras. :indiff:

4 doors, available 6-speed, and 2.4 litres of noodly iV-tec goodness.

It's been touched by his noodly appendage, at least, if not his Intelligent Design. Pasta was invented in Asia, after all.

I thought that was rice... oops!

But pasta started with th Chinese... and all we get from them are Honda-Clones.

Are you saying his noodleness is Chinese? Interesting... but the Chinese use pork in their meatballs!

Duke and M-Spec: I know, and I am a huge fan of the Acura TSX. Unfortunately, it's a expensive luxury car here that costs in high 20's? I wonder if the overseas Accord(American TSX) comes in cheaper, plainer form.

The RSX-S is a semi-expensive semi-luxury car that's in the low to mid $20s. The TSX is only a few thousand more expensive, particularly if you pass on the navigation system.

The 2.0 and 2.4 Euro-Accords aren't very expensive out here... 20's I believe, even with our ****ty high taxes. Unfortunately, all AT, and low-hp trim.

We don't get the RSX, though, except as a gray market import. Lovely car, nonetheless.

what, you guys don't get the integra? hmm..... anyways, i get the magazine and read this many moons ago but i wanted to know how many p.s.i. the SRT-4, the redline, and the S.S. ran <8- \ yeah i am getting really tired of hearing about people mis-shifting with hondas! its a pretty simple pattern!!! a guy in our area blew his engine after shifting from 3rd to 2nd and then he cleared the over rev code and he still got his engine replaced after something like 2k.

I know the Redline and Cobalt have a max boost pressure of 12psi.

I have a subscription to C&D, and I read this article. After laughing extremely hard for about fifteen minutes, I'll let you guys in on a secret. Those cars? They're not that fast. If you really believe the SRT-4 does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, I've got some left handed screwdrivers and swampland in Florida I'll sell you.

The fact that Car & Driver can publish any of those 0-60 times with a straight face as the real, honest to god figures is amazing. Not as amazing as the people who believe it, but still amazing.

Sweet, I didn't know they made left-handed screwdrivers.

dear god, i'm joking.

I keep on buying those by mistake, and they never screw on right. I gotta remember to get the regular one next time. 👍

That's actually a myth. The ancient Romans ate forms of pasta, long before contact was ever made with the far east.

How bout left-handed scissors? I hate righty scissors so much.
