I know people are probably getting sick of tire wear and grip posts from the 2.02 update, but it feels like the sport hards a significantly more grippy after the update. I ran a lap on them at Laguna Seca in a almost stock lotus elise 111R (flywheel, oil change and break-in and updated gear ratios) and it felt artificially quick...

I just ran a BWM M3 CSL at Laguna Seca with sport hards. My time from about a year ago was 1:41.16. My new time was 1:39.872. The cars are exactly the same, the only changes are the 2.0 and 2.02 updates and driving with cockpit view on a standard and no gear indicator. But that seems like an awful large difference.

I'm also wondering if grip in the wet has improved. I had only silvered the AMG challenges in the wet - yesterday, I golded the lot. Of course, it's possible my driving has improved, but I don't drive in the wet much at all.

Our league, Legend of the Streets. Runs exclusively with Sports Hard Tyres. So far, there hasn't been any noticeable change in terms of grip or durability.

The wet challenges are quite easy to gold if you just keep the car from sliding all over the place. They were like that before this update. Also those are on CS tires, I wouldn't expect much from SH tires in the rain, with real grip on.

In regards to the Elise, that car is so twitchy. I learned you really need to be delicate because all the controls feel like they are made of glass. Maybe they increased the grip on the tires so that beginners wouldn't spin out as much?

Still...approx. 2 secs difference. That's a lot, but your driving skill has had a year to improve, so I would chalk it up to that! :)
