Here's my official tuning thread. There's no particular rhyme or reason to my tunes, just whatever turns out well, in my opinion. Note, more or less all of my tunes will have low and stiff suspension setting. My general test track in Apricot Hill Raceway. Hope you guys enjoy them. So I'm usually pretty rough around the 'Ring, but I slapped together this car and tune and they turned out pretty nice.

Here's my tune for the rather great looking and quick Isuzu Bellett 1600 GT-R '69.

This tune was a little more purposefully so I'll explain my reasoning behind some of the things I've done.

I wanted to create a DBR9 inspired car based on, of course, the DB9 street car, in this case the premium 2006 model. Both the color and wheels are meant to repeat the looks of the manufacturer team's DBR9. Although the DBR9 only makes 600 hp in real life, it also only weighs 1100 kg (0.55 hp/kg). Keeping this in mind I figured the 687 hp to the 1370 kg (0.50 hp/kg) I used was at least fair to make up the difference, especially taking into account the DBR9's superior aero effects. The top speed chosen (186 mph) means that my car redlines at about 180 mph, due to drag, which puts it on par with the DBR9's top speed. In testing this car I first started at my usual Apricot Hill Raceway, but soon moved to the Silverstone Gran Prix Circuit. In the final stages of tuning, I raced in the Group GT3 Series race held at the Silverstone Gran Prix Circuit. It is easily competitive, if not overly competitive, in the race and finished an easy ~9 sec in front of 2nd place. With all this together I think that this tune turned out very well, resulting in one of the grippiest, most balanced, and quickest race cars I've attempted. Hope you enjoy.

Here's my try at a GT3 Ford GT. It makes 555 hp, 5 hp more than the Matech Ford GT3, to make up for its 9 kg weight disadvantage. I've included some short notes on making a GT1 version.

Nice start on the garage, will be trying these. Have some other projects going on but definitely on my list...

Aston Martin Vantage GT3 perhaps? I tried and its just not fast. I added flat floor and it handle a bit better but top end was drastically effected.

Are you focusing on GT3 replicas? Or just random acts of kindness?

These are going to be mostly random. Sometimes I'll be inspired to do cars based off of race cars or tuner cars, PP restrictions, max tuned setups, etc. Just sort of whatever I happen across.

Edit: My next tune is a 600pp racing RX-7, but after that I might give the Vantage a try.

Here's my build of the Volvo C30 Polestar Concept. Sadly it's not AWD, but it's still a pretty beastly hot hatch. Also I gave it a more streetable setup with softer suspension.

If I get on at some point, I'll try to put together a tune. Sadly I don't play GT6 much anymore and instead hybridize cars in GT5 v2.11
