Here are all my "Spoon" inspired cars and tunes. All my tunes are based on what I consider the two most important aspects of Spoon tuned cars, low weight and high revving NA engines. Every car here is set up with fairly low ride heights and stiff springs, so adjust accordingly for different tracks. If it helps, I test these tunes around Apricot Hill Raceway. Hope you enjoy!

*NOTE* The pictures of my tunes are no longer displaying. If you want to see the tune spreadsheets, just follow this link: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxGIrMiRRHZTUzM4dmV1clJ3Wnc&usp=sharing

Here's my setup and tune for my Spoon Insight. This is actually one of my favorite cars. It sounds great and looks pretty good as well.

Beautiful cars mate. 👍

Chat soon. :)
Thanks! I'm hoping to post my last two premium "Spoon" cars (CIVIC TYPE R (EK) '97 and S2000 '06) sometime today. Then I'm moving on to standard models, particularly the PRELUDE Type S '96, and then classic Spoon inspired models, including the CIVIC 1500 3door CX '79 and the S600 '64.

Awesome! Starting to be one great collection...

Sweet Rides right here!

@DigitalBaka
I believe the Sunlight Yellow comes from the actual Spoon Civic/Intergra in the Spoon dealership!

Gonna give these setups a go!

Works for me. Been trying to find a decent yellow besides Solar Yellow. Not much of a Honda fan but I do like listening to Ichishima when he's talking about his cars or his shop.

Very good idea!
I've made the spoon insight, and the car looks great. I'm doing some laps at Tsukuba and I feel the car a little bit bumpy.I think I'm going to make some light changes. I'm also using sport hards instead of sport softs.

To make it less bumpy raise the ride height about 15 mm front and 25 mm rear and lower the spring stiffness by about 1 on front and 1.5 rear. The difference will also aid turn in as will adding weight and altering the weight distribution rearwards. Compensate with extra power to the same PP. By using this method I've increased every cars lap time on my preferred test Silverstone national by at least 2 seconds. I know it takes away slightly from the Spoon ethos of lightweight but lap times are more important ;-)

My setups here are on the low/stiff side. For bumper tracks you'll want raise the ride height and lower spring rates, as XPOWER180 said above.

I tried this new settings. The car seems more comfortable (less "extreme"). I'm turning 0,3 sec slower now, but anyway I'm not really worried about the time, just driving and making some pics.

Thanks for the tips! 👍

Here's my first of two cars that actually do exist as Spoon models. This first one has a little more power and a little more weight. Still ends up with about 40 more pp over the stock Spoon Civic.

And here's the 2nd one. I actually forgot I made this one until I looked today. Unlike my '97 Civic, this one ends up both lighter and more power than it's Spoon counterpart.

I've made the cr-z, mine painted with "championship white"(looks better in that car than the yellow paint in my opinion). Good handling and turn in. I'm testing it at Tsukuba too, and I'm going 1 sec faster aprox than the Insight(both with sport hards).

Great work!!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the builds. Down the the road I'm hoping to post the following Spoon inspired builds.

1. Prelude SiR S spec '98 (lightest and tied for most powerful Prelude)
2. Civic 1500 3door CX '79
3. S600 '64
4. Integra Type R (DC2) '99
5. Civic Type R (EP) '04
6. Insight '99
7. CR-X SiR '90
8. CR-X del Sol SiR '92
9. S2000 '06
10. BEAT Version Z '93

I don't have too much criteria for choosing the cars, but I'm restricting it to cars that are less than 1300 kg stock so that I can meet the low weight of Spoon models.

Great tunes so far! Just an idea, how about you have blue rims to compensate for the fact that Spoon cars are yellow and blue, but there isn't a livery editor in the game? Other than that, great work!

I like that idea, but I think I would reserve that for more hardcore versions of the cars I've created. I relate the yellow and blue with their race models and I'm sorting of aiming for more of a "street" tune.

OK, understandable :)

Built 5 of the Cars and I must say, I am loving the drive. Not changing anything to the tune, it may not be perfect for my driving style. But its based on Spoon builds and I am keeping it as is.

How about the Euro-R Accord '00. I dont know what the weight is on it but I think you can give it some Spoon fed performance! Thanks!

Carry on...

Also, the NSX tune sheet isnt showing up on my iPhone says

The Euro-R '00 is a little heavy and big, but after I get through my current lineup I might give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
