:gtpflag: RACEDAY ALERT!!! :gtpflag:

Tonight we enter week 2 of March Madness. This week we hop in rally cars and tear our own path thru existing tracks! These cars were meant for varying surfaces, so take advantage every corner you can. Should be a pretty quick night, these things can be exhausting to drive. Just remember, even though we are all cutting corners, it’s not a knockout night! Bumps WILL happen, just race hard! See you tonight!

Race 1: Imola
Race 2: Indy Road
Race 3: Bugatti Circuit
Race 4: Leipzig Circuit

Seems like I say this every week, but thanks for indulging me. RX cars are not everyone's favorite (for sure not mine), but I figured we might try that and get more than 6 on track at a time. Glad I shortened this to one night from a whole series. I'll post results tomorrow, but until then, take a look at @DubRacing 's sweeet drift at the end of the last race.

Trying to pick up my own slack here... Thanks all for coming to the Wild Rally Shootout! I guess it's as close as we'll get to a rallycross night with more than 6 souls. Seemed like it was fun, although challenging, to feel out the cars but also determine the best lines around the tracks. That was supposed to be part of the appeal. Box checked! @mexxifrieboy came out on top of the second-half-charging @coltsjugg on the night! I heard the giggles on the night, so that alone made it worth it! Next well we'll all drive a bunch of Fords, around American tracks, normally.... that sounds boring after this week!

:gtpflag: RACEDAY ALERT!!! :gtpflag:

Welcome to Week 3 of March Madness!! Using the same format from a couple months ago in the Marathon of Madness, we’ll run a bunch of Fords around American tracks! 4 cars, 4 tracks, you must use a different car around each track.

The only difference will be that each class is scored separately with one overall winner.

See y’all tonight!

May I join tonight? I think I will be able to make the first two races.

Freakin fun night! I'm glad you guys seemed to enjoy the variety (and strategy) of these types of nights. @coltsjugg certainly did as he swept the evening, giving him a firm grasp on March Madness so far. Next week is kinda similar, but not at all. I think it's going to be really cool, but what do I know. See you then!

Yes, the 80's is considered 'vintage' now. Yes, you are old.

Last year we ran a few races at LeMans. This year, we'll be running 4 races for a total of 6 HOURS! Hey, get back here!
  • 4 Races (Stints) @ 90 Mins each.
  • 4 Group C Cars, you will drive 1 per race.
  • You are part of a 4-Driver Team for each car.
  • Each race will act as your stint in that car.
  • Finishing positions will act as starting position for the next race (stint).
  • Total Race time and finishing position of each stint will play into final standings for the race. (That means that if your team has a fast guy in your car for the last stint who wins, you won't automatically win outright.)
While I prefer you drive the actual livery of the car assigned, as long as you are in the correct make, it will be fine. The Jag and Nissan only have 3 liveries for example, so you can pick any of them you wish. You will still be scored for the team assigned.

Tentative list of teams. It will vary based on who attends, or drivers who may be subbed out over 4 races.

The track will be the LeMans 24HR circuit, NOT Historic LeMans.

4/2/19
Stint 1 (Hours 1-6)
Summer | 2PM | 5X Time | Overcast, Light Clouds

4/23/19
Stint 2 (Hours 7-12)
Summer | 8PM | 5X Time | Light Clouds, Medium Clouds

5/14/19
Stint 3 (Hours 13-18)
Summer | 2AM | 5X Time | Medium Clouds, Fog

6/4/19
Stint 4 (Hours 19-24)
Summer | 8AM | 5X Time | Fog, Clear

Track Penalties: Off
Tire Wear: Accelerated
Fuel: On
Damage: Visual
Mechanical Failures: On
Pit Errors: On

Scoring will be based on total race time of each race, with Lowest time + Most laps taking overall victory. If we end up with out a full 16 drivers, which is likely, the remaining cars will be given -1 lap and -3:30 to the last place finishing driver of each stint.

Driver list (Based on attendance and previous interest in enduros). If you don't want to / can't race, please let me know so I can update lists accordingly.

This...is frikken awesome!!!....,!
Gonna have to careful who you bitch at... could be your next teammate...heheheh.

I'm a little confused trying to work out how you have laid everything out....but so far I take it I will be running the Respol #17 on April 2nd right?

Every other question I have I will ask over the mic because ever thing is better understood under spoken word

I have an updated list that might be more clear with the race dates above. But you are actually in the Sauber for the first race, you’d be in the Porsche the last one.
