dear fellow community. after the recent issues i had recently taken a break from this game and these forums.

this whole speed test thing has really f:censored:ked our community up. from now on after recent discoveries ssrx should not be cared about any longer. everyone seems to have a b#tch about these times posted and whether they are same tune as indy. look they are 2 different courses and need 2 different tunes.

to conclude this: ssrx times are ssrx tunes and we all know everyone "cheat" starts. indy is run by whoever trees best really. enough said this whole thing is bulls:censored:!

karo: dont quit because the credibility of ssrx times is being questioned. dont worry about the bs on the track.. just race with your mates and have some fun bro ill always be keen to muck round with you hydro lads 👍

everyone else: cancel your manicure, grow a moustache and harden up..

i think it was a necessary thing to bring up. its a shame it went down so badly. but we need more 3k draggers 👍


the truth of the matter is everyone is over reacting and is taking it too serious. its just a game. its intended for fun.
 
Well if it means a guy like Nuke quits because of it then I'm not amused... at all.
 
🤬 no fest.. Karo is easily a world class dragger/tuner.. I was finding it very difficult to take this game seriously a few weeks ago.. But it people can't sort their 🤬 out over a MA' :censored:EN VIDEO GAME!!
 
Now true it is just a game its not amusing at all to know that i put so much time in, and yet people are cheating to seem faster? Ive put nearly half a year into this, and look at karo! This madness needs to stop, its to the point where dragracing is on the brink of collapsing on the fourums. For now, im done posting my times. Im keeping every one of my wings on and going to indy like i do every day.

every single person on these forums just needs to calm down. this whole thing is a bit much for everyone. fact of the matter is like i have stated its a game and people are over reacting.

To be honest buddy I think that’s a bit rich coming from you. Haven't you quit 3 or 4 times over lesser issues? Nuke has put in a huge amount of effort into tuning and updating the leader boards... I would be really annoyed too.
 
Whenever you get pissed or aggravated... just remember, its a game.

Have fun, don't let it stress you out.

i understand i have quit over 'lesser' issues. but the fact of the matter is (which i have learnt) running away from it does nothing. yes karo put in heaps of work and god bless him for it. but we all know that this whole thing is out of proportion. im sure only a very select few were doing this IF AT ALL.. for karo to want to quit because 2 people have been playing with times isnt right. (yes im not one to judge karos actions of quitting)

im clearly just saying he doesnt have to quit. he can enjoy the time online with his mates in a room and not have to worry about the leader boards. IMO they were ruined when people started whining over the whole retro "cheating" bs..

karo i hope this whole thing hasnt upset you too much mate 👍

IMHO it wouldn't be an overreaction. He has dedicated pretty much all his spare time to tuning and (more recently) updating the boards. You now seem to be suggesting he would be "running away" from something :confused: From what I gather it is now possible to run with SRF at the non SRF g and there is no real way to police it... certainly no way to confirm prior submissions. It potentially makes a mockery of the boards and I can't even imagine having to redo all the cars he has tuned. I'm also gutted for anyone else who has tuned a lot of cars legitimately. Yes, he can still go into a room as usual, but extensive work and a big part of the game (at the moment) has been invalidated.

I genuinely hope he doesn't quit, but it's his choice and I wouldn't see it as any sort of overreaction.

I just wanted to point out I was really shocked to see this sort of suggestion coming from you... given your history.

he shouldnt need to prove again. he races and often wins at indy with his hard worked tunes, hes got the respect (as far as i know). im not saying karo is overeacting. im saying the community is. i understand his frustration.

yes i know what my history has shown, but people learn from mistakes. 👍

peoples times are always goin to be questioned. its the nature of competition i think.

anyways karo ill always be keen to muck round online in a room with ya mate, doesnt even have to be drags.. youre a good lad.

i understand how you felt dude it was my bad and should've said something. but all is well and now we know that there is a way for noobs to get fast times lol
 
I agree with madmax.. Let people use whatever aids they want.. That way there is no real way of cheating.. Cause if everyone uses it..

this maybe the case, but if so i may just quit postiing. if it spreads to lobbies then i will most likly quit dragging at that point. thats my only concern.
