PD need to hurry up and bring some new cars or a DLC into the game, it seems alot of people are getting bored now. I ain't even turned the game on now for 4 or 5 days. :/

Given a timeframe of 2-3 years until GT6 (pure guessing by me), another 150-200 premiums should be realistic. They might update a couple of standard cars in the meantime, but if they do any at all, they will be numbered I predict.

I'm in the same boat, I've just done bspec and I haven't done a race of my own in a couple weeks...

All standards won't be upgraded to premiums for GT5. I don't think they will be all premiums for GT6 either...

No, I guaranbloodytee they won't be. It'll probably be the GT5 car list, with 810 Standard and the 221 Premium plus some new models for GT6. So, we're looking at 810 Standard cars, 221 GT5 cars, and maybe something like 200 more GT6 cars.

With GT selling far more units than Forza, it's sort of odd that Polyphony can't create current-gen models faster than this. In just a couple years Turn 10 did at least 400 new models for FM3. Yes, lots of FM3's cars were previously in FM2, but they didn't just carry over the old models but rather upgraded all of them with ten times as many polygons as the FM2 models.

Why put time in graphix when there is SO much they still have to improve on gameplay itself!

For instance: they should remove the grinding, make more challenges, more a-spec races, better reward vs effort.
Stuff like that.
Also patch things like the SS7 glitch.
Stuff like that.
Graphix is the least of my concern.

Also: online gaming should be better.
Much more filters so you can filter per country, or give people the possibility to allow just certain cars (BMW only, Ferrari only etc ) races.

Single player wise, GT5 has been done like 3 weeks after I bought it.
A-spec was done (except the endurances), challenges done, licenses done.
I keep driving laps online but there are many little annoyances they could fix up before they focus on graphix.

/rant end

i will not drive standard cars... im on my second play through... i was 100% donw with all cars...so i restarted...this time premium any

Turn10 outsources their work. In some cases, these people do a bad job, then T10 won't check on the work they did. That's why FM3 ended up having buggy DLC.

PD won't outsource their work, so it ends up taking longer.

Persononly i like the standrad cars, i wouldnt mind if all 1000 cars would be standard, because i like to race online. PD should put more effort implementing stabile online play, and less time for those useless standard cars. We will never get all cars premium, and who knows which cars gt6 will have? PD have allreaddy let us down with the carlist in this game, and many epic cars arnt premium. Even worse, many cars doesnt have realistic tuning either, due to the lack of adding supercharger and turbo to some of them. Cars have far less HP than in real life while tuned, and N/A cars have to much hp comparing to real life. How come? In real life the M3 cls which is n/a could never be tuned to 475 hp, while the supra top tuned only hits 725, and the nissan 300zx hits 760 (even though in real life there are more supras hitting higher hp than the 300zx).

Have they made this game with closed eyes or what?

Hey you know PD could do anything Even just upgrading some standards to almost premium looks but with no interiors and call them better than standards, they just could

Ok what I don't get is why the Bugatti Veyron isn't premium and something like an enos roadster(I think thats what its called) is.
