I just checked on some subaru in my garage and I found out that the Subary Legacy GT spec B was so badly modelled that it looks like it came out of ps2?
The wheel arches are so pixelated. Some standard cars look pretty good but some are just badly modelled

It has been said that the standards were imported into GT5 from GT4. Kinda a let down right? Oh well, hope for a graphics update I guess.

So the ones that are imported straight from GT4 have worse graphics than the ones that are made specifically as standards for GT5?

I could be wrong on this, but I believe all standards came from GT4 and GT PSP. Any cars made specifically for GT5 were made as Premium models.

If there are standards that were new to GT5, there certainly aren't many

XFR is the only one I think, and you were right the rest came from GT PSP and GT4.

GT4 HD mostly and it seems there are cars from GT3, which as you said look worse than GT4 HD. GT4 HD cars were graphically barely touched graphically(except for color range)

each car to me has a very special designs and when i see each standard car design. It makes me feel like GT5 And past gt series are in this game but you are right some cars are badly modeled.

They are indeed imported from GT4 and GTPSP.

It was only in the Japanese version because of licensing issues, the European version got the Zonda instead. The European version didn't have all the F1 cars both NTSC versions had, only two completely fictional (Polyphony 001 & 002).

The EB110 could be seen in an old development video pre-GT3 if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Oh and there was also a Porsche 911 hidden on the Japanese GT3 disc.

"Embedding disabled by request." But very informative anyways. But wait, I don't think the Stratos is a secret car.
