Standard Cars with a good cockpit view

Found two so far: 2J and Toyota 7. I always use the cockpit view and other than these two standards I currently only drive premiums.

Looking for suggestions on other standards with a good cockpit view. Other standards I've tried so far have been disappointing.

Any Standard car without a roof (including racecars) has a 'decent' cockpit view.
The aforementioned Prowler probably has the best one since it appears to be completely modelled separately with working gauges.
The Caterham and Jay Leno Tank Car also feature quite nice looking cockpit views although the one on the Tank Car is let down a bit by using the old PS2 dashboard textures which are more apparant on this car since the dashboard is bigger and made of metal.
The best one without working dials is the Chaparral 2J in my opinion, it looks almost if not entirely Premium quality.

Some of the black silhouette cockpits are fun too. The Paganis and Spyker are unique. Older cars with long hoods and racecars with big front fenders are usually the worst.

This makes me wonder why they couldn't have just went down the PSP route. When I downloaded the update, I thought "now to check out the standard cars cockpits".

First, I tried the FGT and was pleasantly surprised. Next up, the Toyota 88-CV. Then, I tried the Veyron, expecting it to have a decent cockpit... Nope.

I would have been much happier with the dashboard and windscreen to be honest.

All in this thread.

That Suzuki concept car with the motorbike engine and no windscreen, GSXR-something I think. Fun to drive too!

C-ZETA! Why must you take my pic? +1 anywho

...Wut.

But yeah, all of the above basically explains everything lol. One car you should avoid though with onboard view, is the W12 Nardo. The roof is glass, which means you can see through that too, and it does not look good.

I don't understand why you cannot see any of the bodywork on the closed cockpit standard cars from the interior view. It's obviously technically possible, so why can't we see the body? It looks so stupid in cars like the Peugeot 905 where you just look through a slit with black on both sides.

Prowler, Toyota 7 and the Formula GT are the best ones by far :)

IMO, most of the LMP open prototypes don't look that good :nervous:
