What tire do you think would handle better on a 100-200hp car? I've heard that Standard Tires give more grip??? The car I will be using is FR.. I just want someones opinion.. thanks.

Stickier tires are always better... but proportionnaly less realistic!

N-tires won't give better grip. Those tires are the type of tires you buy for driving to the market, not for racing. Sport tires are tires that have much more grip, and are suitable for racing.

And R tires are too unrealistic...
The N tires are the most interesting and challenging anyway!

are you a racer to judge that the racing tires are unrealistic? you'd be impressed on how well some cars can handle with racing tires..

R tyres for speed and to compete in high speed and difficult races.
N tyres for drifting and low speed and easy races...
N2's work very good on cars with about 200HP... N3 can also be done but they have a bit more grip.
For racing seriously I use R2/3 tyres only or S3 slicks if needed... I don't like slicks that much you know...

Since GT is just a game, I could say the same for the N tires - unrealistic. As a personal challenge, they may be fun, but I hardly think they are realistic, especially for some cars.

I feel tire ranking, along with a few other "features" we all know all too well, is another of PD's neverending jokes. :sly:
