Would anybody like to put together a list of all the prize winners from the ends of each week? I do not have the time or I would do it, I just think it would be nice to see a list of people getting the playseats and the dfgt. I think it could help people that are close just not sure what place they need to be in as you can't win twice.

What are the rules about that anyway? top five each week overall get a seat/ wheel?
 
From the rules:

Top 128 from each region at the end of round 1 - Gran Turismo download voucher for PSP
Top 1 nationally at the end each week of round 1 - playseat
Top 5 nationally at the end each week of round 1 - DFGT
Top 20 nationally at the end each week of round 1 - poster

You can't win any prize twice, so 5 different drivers will win a playseat, 25 different drivers will win a DFGT, and 100 different drivers will win a...poster ($10 value). You can win each of the 3 prizes, though. Whoever finishes first will win all of the above, unless they've already won one (or multiple) prizes from a previous week.

Top 16 from each region at the end of round 2 - GT5 Collector's Edition (don't you already own the game if you make it this far...whatever)

Top 8 from each region at the end of round 3 - travel and accommodations to national finals in Orlando

Top 16 from national finals - entrance to GT Academy as long as you meet a bunch of rules (pass a physical, aren't a pro driver already, etc...)

Geez, I didnt know the finals were going to be in Orlando. Im only an hour and a half drive from there. I was hoping to get to go somewhere else. If i make it i think i should get something since they wont have to spend money on a plane ticket for me. Thats if i even make which i kinda doubt but you never know i guess.

Nothing. I was just mentioning that it kinda sucks that i dont get to get out of town for it like everyone else.

No one is really sure of the exact times of the deadlines, but you are probably right. I hope the deadline was Monday at midnight ;)

Just kidding, this is definitely good work, and much appreciated. I know I'll be watching this closely.

Those DFGT's are going to result in a nice battle. However, what will be great to watch is the fight for the 5th playseat. Fix and Kris got theirs, and it looks like Choate and Hunk will get theirs. For the last playseat there's a really close gap between 5th and 10th right now (less than 0.3s total). Even 19th place is within a second, and others like GTP_TimeAttack haven't even posted at all 3 tracks yet.

Na, they have a ban on anything that is related to video games.

But, I understand too. I run test cells that are running engines and thermal re-generators so i guess they want my attention on the data being taken for some reason. I guess they are afraid of me blowing something up.

I figured I'd update this thread with this week's winners (based on what I have for standings, nothing official).

Week 3 Playseat: Choate51

Week 3 DFGT's: z06fun, LVracerGT, Tha-Ghoast, EERS4YEARS, GTP_potatochip

I've updated the Google doc to show projected week 4 winners as well.
 
Hunk made it close for the 3rd playseat eh? I don't think it could be much closer between the 2 of us. What is it like .047 or something.

That is what most assume. Although, it seems rather weird for anything to end at lunch time, even though it started at this time. I think the line in the sand would be midnight, but I am not forgetting who is holding the competition so logic needn't apply. But it would be best for me if it ends at noon, that'd be 12 less hours for me to get bumped from a DFGT, assuming 11th is good enough for one. Good luck, dude!

Funny you mention, my work banned gran-turismo.com as well around the same time as yours. They must both use the same filter!
